4: basement

~Vincent's POV~

We haven't eaten in two weeks.

Jeremy already collapsed, he's not dead, but I am worried about him.

We weren't that healthy in the first place...thank god neither one of us has stockholm syndrome..

I feel weak, I wanna fall, but I'm afraid that I'll never get up again.

But then again, what's the point? If I'm just gonna stay down here the rest of my life, I might as well die.

I lie myself down on the floor, sighing to myself. When I first came here, I'd cry to myself all the time, now, I couldn't cry even if I wanted to. I simply have gotten used to this..

I suddenly heard the door opening, but it was someone I hadn't seen before.

~Scott's POV~

"Shh!" I told Mike, who was hiding in my closet, my father doesn't allow me to bring anyone.

"Okay!" Mike said annoyed.

I swear I'm gonna lose my tempur on him if he doesn't shut up.

After a few minutes of hiding Mike, my dad was finally gone. Now we could go downstairs.

"Okay...he's gone!" I yelled to him.

"Finally! I thought he would never leave!" He said before coming out of the closet (he's gAYYY nah jk, well yeah he is but-).

We made our way downstairs, not knowing what to expect.

"So like, what if he has people living down here or something?" Mike said, when he suddenly gasped, "What if he is letting people live down here illegally?!"

I shook my head, "He wouldn't do anything illegal...when he left my mom he swore to me that he'd be good! He said he wouldn't do anything illegal anymore.."

Mike looked into my eyes as he put his hand over my shoulder, "And my mom said she loved me...parents lie all the time!"

I shrugged him off as we continued to walk down the stairs, when we came to the door.

I twisted the knob, and it was unlocked.

I opened it, and I saw something that shocked me..
