Bella and Edward's baby

I was in the car with Charlie on our way to get a bite to eat. Then my phone started to buzz and my eyes lit up, it was Edward.

"Hey." I said

"Hello beautiful. How are the two most important people in my life doing?"

"Charlie and Emily are fine."

My dad glanced at me but I just laughed. Edward laughed too.

"How's the baby? Is he hurting you at all?"

"The baby's fine. Just some light kicks. And what makes you so sure it's a boy?"

"Just hoping. I have to go love. I love you, Goodbye. Tell the baby I love him."

"Her," I corrected him, "and I love you too." I hung up and rubbed my belly. "Daddy said he loves you." I smiled.

It was still kind of awkward being around my dad now that I was pregnant. Ever since I told him he's being acting kind of weird.

"You ok?" I asked him.

"We'll talk when we get there."

That got me scared. I felt like I was a kid getting put in time out. But I wasn't. I was a grown, pregnant, woman and wife. He can't still treat me like a kid, can he? Either way I know Edward has my back.

We walked into the restaurant in silence. It was kind of busy but I didn't want to eat anywhere else.

My dad put us on the waiting list. It was a 30 minute wait. So I decided to use my pregnancy to get us boosted up and it worked. We were seated immediately. But I got a lot of looks, which I usually do, being 19 and pregnant. But it's ok, because I've been married for almost a year.

"Hi, my name is Melissa and I'll be your server today. May I ask what you would like to drink?"

"A smoo-," my dad shot me a look,"I mean, a water please." I rolled my eyes but I know it was for our benefit.

"I'll take a water too, thank you."

Melissa looked down at my stomach and pretended she didn't notice, thank God.

"What'd you want to talk about dad?"

"Unicorns. You know Bella."

"I hope this isn't about the baby."

"You know it is."

"What do you want to know then?" I asked sarcastically.

"Why you couldn't wait a little longer to have a baby."

"I didn't chose this and even if I did its my decision. My husbands and my decision!"

"Calm down. You can't stress the baby out. I didn't mean to make you upset but you have to understand how hard this is for me."

"I do but there's nothing I can do now."

"I know, which is why I got you a surprise."

"Really?" My eyes started to tear.

"Here he comes." said my dad. I turned around to see my husband standing there in my favorite sweater on him. I wanted to hug him really hard but my stomach got in the way. Ughh. So I decided to just go for a little hug to avoid further embarrassment.

"What are you doing here?"

"I can leave it you want."

"I'm serious."

"I wanted to surprise my beautiful wife. Is that so bad?"

"Pregnant women don't like surprises."
