Christopher's P.O.V
My sister and I were two average teens 3 years ago but now we have the experience of 80 year olds. I should probably start at the beginning. 3 years ago, today, my life and my sister's life were changed forever. I was 12 while my sister was 10, and we were sitting in our desks next to each other in school.
"When does class end?" I whispered to Amira.
"10:08" She whispered back. Ms. Weaston saw us whispering and asked,
"Mister Christopher, what's 17 + 32?"
I knew the answer because I had been secretly paying attention and was doing this to throw her off-guard.
"49." I said, cooly.
"That's correct, Christopher." She said, surprised I had been paying attention.
"Amira." She said, noticing my sister, however.
"Huh?" She had a surprised look on her face, but I knew she was faking it.
"9 + 10 + 3 + 52 =?"
"73 ma'am." She said.
"Ok..." Ms. Weaston said and the rest of us in her class just kept on keeping on. Our school is weird. Instead of grades they have Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Mastery, Beginner was ages 4-7 then Intermediate which was 8 - 13, Advanced was 14 - 16 and finally there was Mastery 17 - 21.
Amira and I went home and laid on the couch, not expecting anything.
