"Hey," I said as I sat in the booth across from him.

"Hi, I'm glad you came," Niall said quietly with a sigh. "I just had some stuff on my mind that I decided I need to tell you. But firstly, how've you been?"

"I'm great, a little cold from the walk here, but good. You?"

"Just tired," he gave me a half smile.

"So," I started, "what do you need to talk about?"

"I- uh," he began then paused, "I sort of think I may have feelings for someone," he mumbled all at once.

"What? That's great! Who is it?" I asked. I'm glad he's moved on from me. I knew he'd be able to do it.

"I don't think you understand-" he speaks again but is interrupted by another voice which comes from the person I want to see the least right now.

"Ally, Baby, please listen to me," Louis sprints to sit next to me and wraps his arm around my shoulder.

"What do you want? I'm trying to have a conversation with my friend," I sneer, shoving his arm off of me.

"I'm so sorry, I was wrong. You weren't being dumb or any of those things I said. I'll stop, I promise. Just please come back," he pleaded. I glanced over to Niall who looked annoyed.

"Can we take this outside?" I whispered. It makes me too uncomfortable to talk about this in front of Niall. Louis stood up and I followed him. We stepped outside and he looked at me with pleading eyes.

"Ally-"

"I know you're sorry. And," I swallowed, "I forgive you."

"Really?" He smiled wide then hugged me, "I won't lose you this time."

I wanted to scoff, but I wasn't about to ruin what was just mended. But I knew he was going to lose me at some point. He's already done it a few times before. I wonder to myself why I keep accepting his apologies, and the truth is: I want to feel loved. And there is a difference between being loved and knowing it and feeling like you're loved. And the thing is, when Louis is good to me, I feel loved. But when he makes one of his many little mistakes, I feel... I believe the right word is emotional, because of the many different emotions I feel.

Suddenly I was pulled out of my thoughts by my phone vibrating. I didn't realize I had gotten in Louis' car and completely ditched Niall. Speaking of Niall, that's exactly who was calling me. I answered it but didn't say hello first, but instead waited.

"Hello?" Niall sounded hurt and aggravated.

"Hey, sorry, what's up?"

"What's up?! Are you serious. You just ditched me! And for the douche who just dumped you!" Niall spat into the phone.

"But we're together again, everything is okay. And I said I was sorry," I kept calm so I didn't catch Louis' attention.

"Everything is not okay Ally. It's never okay. Well, as long as you're with Louis it isn't."

"Excuse me?" I was taken aback by this. Niall was one of my closest friends, so why would he say that?

"You heard me. And until you agree with me, don't talk to me. Goodnight," he hung up and left me with a dropped jaw and wide eyes.

"You okay, Love?" Louis glanced over at me.

"Uh- yeah. I'm good. Why?"

He laughed, " 'Cause you seemed to be catching flies for a second there."

AUTHOR'S NOTES:
Okay I know this isn't very long or very good but I thought I'd start writing again, seeing as it's been like a full year since I last published anything. But recently I've been reading a lot of stories and listening to the new album [Buy Made in the AM ;)] so I have a lot of inspiration right now. So I'll see you guys in the next part.
