Santa Wish

You and Zak were doing a little Christmas shopping at the mall. You've been roommates and fast friends for about a year now this Christmas would make your anniversary so to speak a year since he came to your rescue. Anywho as the two of you walked around the mall you both seen santa's wonderland set up and Santa sitting in his chair with no one in line. So zak smiles and jokingly says "go up and sit on his lap and make a wish" making you look over at him smirking like you'd never do it.

You smile "you sure you won't get jealous?" You smirk back at him as a challenge

"Nah he's an old guy with no chance with you he's Santa" he smiles

"Ok" you say as you walk up to him to Santa.

The older gentleman smiles at you and jesters to the royal stepping stool beside him. Making you feel a little less nervous you sit beside him and look up.

"Well hello there young lady" he smiles jolly

"Hello Santa it's nice to meet you I'm...." You smile softly blushing but the old man stops you

"Y/N" he says

"How did you..."

"I am Santa after all" he smiles and laughs his ho ho ho laugh

You but your lip gently and he speaks again "what's on your mind child" he says offering his hand for yours.

You take a deep breath and take his hand which he accepts and hold them with both his hands, "well you see that guy over there" she said looking over quick and back to him "I've known him for a year and.." "Your wondering how he feels" he finished for you making you nod. He just smiles and says "you have all the answers my dear it'll come in due time he'll find his way to you it may be sooner then you think" he says and patted your hands making you a bit confused and well a tad at ease but it just make you think of more questions then answers. "He's waiting my dear you have a wonder Christmas" he smiles and waves to Zak and you nod, thank him and walk back over to Zak.

"That took awhile he get fresh with you" he joked

"No just had some kind and wise words for me" you say and walk with him to his car and get in

"Get some good stuff?" She asks buckling

He nod "so what did you talk about?" he asks driving the two of you home the scenic route knowing you liked it best.

"Umm just a wish that I can't tell you until he happens" you smile softly teasing just a tad

"Aw come on I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours" he smiles his cute smile the one he knew you couldn't resist.

"Hey not fair I know you're playin' dirty so stop" you smile

"Hey can't blame for for tryin' "he says and holds your hand gently the rest of the way home making you wonder if it was coming true like the Santa impersonator said.

About a half hour later you arrive at home and carry your few bag through the garage and up the stairs to your room and setting them on your bed and jumping onto it on your back closing your eyes. Zak sees you as he was walking past from his room and leans on your doorway arms folded studying you for a moment. You open your eyes slowly and look over at him "hmm?" You say

"What?" He said snapping back into reality

"You ok?" You asked a little concerned

"Hmm yah just thinking...what do you want for dinner" he asks

"How about homemade pizza?" you smile

"Yah I can do that but no watching my mom made me swear not to share the family secret unless it's family" he smiles causing you to look at him

"Well you don't have to if you don't want to just an idea" you say kind of hurt he didn't think of you in that way.

"Well you can help just no watching the measurements" he says

"No it's ok I'm not really hungry anyway" you say getting up and grabbing some pjs

"You sire?" He asks

"Yah positive" you say tanking your shirt off with your back to him

"Ok well I'm gonna make it away" he says watching you close

"K" was all you said getting your shirt and going into your bath room and getting into your show and sighed getting under the water "Santa was wrong what did he know about love and relationships hell Zak he'd never see me as more then a friend/roommate don't be stupid and believe you could have more with him then what you do you're just lucky enough to know him" you say and rub your face and finish you shower and put on your pjs.

You lay in your bed and close your eyes. After you were just about to sleep you hear a knock at your door "what?" You whine softly

"It's me can I come in I have a gift" he says

"Sure" you yawn waking up and sitting up some. He opens the door and in comes Gracie full speed jumping into bed with you.

"Ah oh hi!" You say and pet her as she comes close giving you kisses all over your face "yes yes I'm sorry I didn't take you to bed with me sweetie yes I missed you too" you smile and hug her making Zak smile and come to your bed side and sit down beside you. You look over at him and he set a plate of food on the night stand by you.

"Thanks but really I'm not hungry just really tired" you say looking down at Gracie laying her head on your lap.

"Ok well I just came in to try and feed you night" he sighs and takes the plate so Gracie didn't have it instead of her. "Sleep well" he says and leaves your room, causing you to sigh snd lay back down "guh why does he gotta do this to me he's sweet and kind and funny one second and the next friend zoned" you say softly making Gracie get up and lick your cheek. "Thanks sweetie love you too" you say and lay back down and close your eyes cuddling up to her close to you on your other pillow as you drift off to sleep to dream.

Fast asleep Zak locks up the house and shuts all the lights off snd makes his way to his room checking in on you and Gracie for a minute and tucking you in before turning in to his own big bed.

You fall asleep and start seeing white everywhere and all of a sudden you see some one a woman and a man its you in a simple long white dress but you couldn't see who's face the man was just yet...and there it was left you in shock and awe.
