We made it to the hotel without me ripping off Derek's head. The hotel was gorgeous! It was a Hilton, and it looked like a palace. When we walked in we were greeted by a massive crystal chandelier. It was perfect. I felt like a princess, but then I remembered I'm with the worse prince of them all. We grabbed our bags and headed to the check in counter.
"Hello, we need to check in" I said
At the counter there was a girl around my age, blonde hair and big boobs might I add. She smiled and turned towards Derek
"What's the last name?" She said, looking directly at Him
He smiled and winked "Jackson"
She giggles and searched through the computer. "Looks like we have a king size bed with full amenities, let me get the keys for you" she winked at Derek and walked away
"Gross" I said. He turned to me and smirked. She then came back with the keys.
"room 904, enjoy your stay" she said and she winked again at Derek. I groaned and turned towards the elevator. After inside He starts chuckling.
"What" I asked annoyed
He smirked again "you can't get over the fact that I'm hot" he stated. I just rolled my eyes, oh god. Finally the elevator got to the 9th floor. It dings and we head out. Our room was at the end of the hall. Derek slid the key and I pushed the door open. The room was huge! There was a living room, a kitchen, and a bedroom. I have never stayed in a room like this. I walked further into the room and dropped my bags by the couch. I moved towards the window and admired the view. Just then my phone began to ring. It was Brandon.
"Hi baby" I said.
" Hey where are you?! It's 7pm and your not home yet!" He was confused and shocked.
I sighed " Brandon I told you, I'm in LA. I had to leave for a business trip. There is a book convention here, and it was a last minute thing. I'm sorry baby"
He sighed of relief " ok, I thought you died or something" he stated
"Well I didn't, now eat dinner and get some rest, ok? I'll be home in a few days hopefully" I said
"Ok well call me when your on your way home"
"I will babe, love you"
Just then I heard the doorbell through the phone
"Bye babe" he said. Weird he didn't say it back. Must have ordered food or something. I put my phone back in my
Pocket and went to unpack.
"Was that the boyfriend" I heard. Which made me jump
"Gez 27 you scared the shit out of me" I said while catching my breath. He chucked and just went back to doing whatever he was doing. I think he was unpacking as well. He opened one of the drawers in the bedroom
"Hold up" I stated, he turned around.
"What?" He looked confused
" you are not staying in this room. I get the bedroom, and you get the couch in the living room" I said
He rolled his eyes. "Haley the bed is big enough"
I laughed " you think I'm going to share a bed with you?! Hell no!"
"Then why don't you sleep on the couch?!" He stated
I laughed again " because I claimed it"
"Woah woah woah, you didn't claim it!" He stated, very dramatically
"Yes I did, by being the women I claimed it." I paused " oh wait, your such a little girl maybe you should have it" I said with a smirk. He rolled his eyes and took his bag back out to the living room. I plopped on the bed and read through the file folder. We have to remember we were here on a mission. I opened the folder and found the picture of stanly cooper. His cargo comes into The LA pier tomorrow night. So tonight we would relax, then tomorrow we will plan our attack. I read over all his other information, then closed the file and headed back out to the living room. I saw Derek sprawled out on the couch watching some football game on the tv.
"Here is the file folder, be up by 7 tomorrow so we can plan what our attack is. The ship comes in tomorrow night so don't sleep in. " I dropped the folder on the coffee table and headed to the kitchen. A girl has got to eat. I opened the fridge and found it empty. I sighed looks like we have to order in. I headed back out to the living room and sat down on a white chair next to the couch.
"There is no food in the kitchen, so we have to order take out" I said to Derek.
He looked away from the tv " we could go buy groceries. We don't know how long we will be here so might as well be prepared"
Wow for once he actually was saying something smart.
"Ok, be ready in 5. We don't know where one is so looks like we are going on an adventure" I got up and headed back to the bedroom. Hopefully we don't get lost. Or die before our mission even starts. Who knows with Derek what will happen.

Here is chapter 6. Sorry that it's a bit short and also sorry if this story is going pretty slow for you guys. I haven't decided what will happen with their relationship yet, so I don't want to rush it. I've realized that the best story's are the ones that go like they actually would in real life.
