We spend time together,
Laughing, sharing, picking fights just to bother.
Thought we could be more than just friends,
But you loved someone else,
And wanted her as your girlfriend.
How stupid, gullible and naiive I was,
To think we were made for a cause.
That destiny had a plan for us,
Unknown that I was throwing myself under a bus!.
A curve on my lips that reached my glittered eyes,
A fake smile that covered my cries.
It said I was happiee for you,
You found someone you want to be with to.!
We still spend time together,
Laughing, sharing, picking fights just to bother.
I know now that we can never be more than friends,
And this is how our story ends.!
