CHAPTER 1
“Damn! I am not even a bit ready for the French mid-term tomorrow.” Rebecca Cromwell announced to her best friends Grant Marino and Damon Zinman. They nodded and sighed in response.

“I am breaking up with Jeff soon.” Rebecca said to Debra Mancuso, another one of her best friends, as they made their way out of the giant shopping mall. The French final was successfully behind them and Debra had wanted to shop for a New Year party dress though it was still a month and a half away. But then again, you don’t need an excuse to shop.
“Why? You guys look so good together” Debra asked Rebecca
“Yeah….but, I am just not feeling it…you know….I want something new!”
“Something new?” Debra asked with a laugh, “Ian maybe?”
“Nooo! Not Ian! Yeah…he’s extremely hot and all….but not him!”
“Then who? Cromwell, you’ve gotta tell me! You know how it is when I get curious about something!”
“Yeah yeah! I’ll tell you sometime else! By the way, how was the French mid-term for you?” Rebecca asked changing the topic.
“Kinda nice! But I can’t say for sure! You never know when Mrs. O’Neil may crack during paper correction! How was yours?”
“It was good! But like you said, you can never be too sure!”
“Don’t you say that bitch! You always top in everything!” Debra retorted.
Just then Rebecca’s driver, Zander, bought the car up to them and they climbed in. After sometime the car pulled outside Debra’s residence and she got out, turned and said to Rebecca, “You’d better tell me soon” then she turned and walked away with a wink. ****
Later, Rebecca sat on her bed and thought about her conversation with Debra. Jeff was a nice guy but she just couldn’t keep up with that relationship anymore. She definitely had feelings for someone else but, the person she liked would no way like her back the way she liked him. Hmmm….what now?
Just then, her older brother, Andrew, popped his head around the door of her bedroom.
“Yo sis! Whatsup?”
“Hey! C’mon in.” she patted the bed, indicating him to sit beside her. He complied.
“How do you like Chelsea?” he asked her.
“Me?! Isn’t it about your liking her? She’s your girlfriend right!”
“I am totally breaking up with her! You know, just this afternoon Kay Adams was flirting with me on IM!”
“Who’s Kay Adams?”
“She is Chelsea’s ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend! After every sentence, she put this winky smiley and THAT, is definitely I-Am-Flirting –With-You!” he said matter of factly.
“Andrew, you’re just assuming stuff! Let’s not forget what happened the last time you assumed stuff!”
“Yeah whatever! Anyways, you tell me, how’s Jeff?”
“I think I’m gonna break-up with him!”
“Why?”
“I like someone else!”
“Who?”
“I can’t tell you!”
“Why?”
