Laurels POV

I pushed the button on the remote again, hoping it would change to something worth my time. I've been sitting here for the past hour trying to find something to watch. There is nothing good on. Maybe I'll make Cas watch another movie with me.
I sat up and jumped a bit when I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in." I called out.
Dean walked in with a giant smile on his face.
"Okay, so you have pretty good aim... Unless it's with a crossbow... But Sam and I decided that you have trained enough." He sat on the bed next to me. "We are going on a hunt!" He said with excitement.
I jumped off the bed as I felt a smile spread across my face.
"Really? When! Wait..." I stood I front of my brother and crossed my arms, "Is this gonna be like those times when you and Sam say I can go with you and then you handcuff me to the car?" I stare at Dean, waiting for an answer.
Dean let out a small laugh and looked up at me.
"No... I stopped doing that when I realized you could get out of them."
"Dean!" I groaned. "When is the hunt?"
He stood up and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Pack your bags! We leave in a few hours. Sammy and I will explain on the way."
I smiled as he walked out of the room.
Finally, no more vampires.
Wait...
I ran to the door and poked my head out.
"Dean!" I yelled. I saw his head poke around the corner a few seconds later.
"What's up?" He asked me.
"It's not a vamp case, is it?" I will be so pissed if it is. Please do not be another case of vampires. I've killed enough to last me a lifetime.
Dean laughed and shook his head. "No. I was gonna trick you and tell you it was but Sammy wouldn't let me." He stared off as if remembering it to be a long time ago when in reality it was probably only thirty seconds ago. "Don't forget your gun."
With that, I began to pack for my first real hunt with my brothers.
