Dean opened the door and Esme pushed her way inside. She was visibly angry as she made her way towards me.

''You couldn't just leave it, could you? Do you realize what you've done?. Seth's had to get stitches."

I didn't feel the slightest bit sorry for him. He deserved it. ''What do you want me to say?''

"Why did you do it?" She asked.

She didn't know the full story, and I doubted Seth had been honest with her. ''He was taunting me. He got what he deserved''

"What's got into you lately?"

"Look, come and sit down for a second'' I suggested

Surprisingly, she did what I said, and I sat down beside her. ''He was being disrespectful. Talking about you in a way I didn't like''

''Seth's been nothing but a gentleman to me ever since we started dating'' Esme argued

Dean, who had silently been watching everything unfold in front of him, chose that moment to step in.

"I've heard it too Esme"

Esme was just about to say something but before she could, the locker room door flew open and Seth came in. He rushed to her side, grabbed hold of her arm, and pulled her to her feet.

"Stay the hell away from her. Don't you think you've done enough damage for one day?''

I looked up at him and couldn't help but smile as I saw the state his face was in. The skin under his eye had been stitched up, his lip was busted open, and he had a nasty-looking bruise forming on one of his cheeks.

Of course, Seth noticed my expression. "I should get you suspended for this."

"Go ahead" I said, calling his bluff. "If you weren't such a lying, two-timing piece of crap, then none of this would have happened"

As soon as my back was turned, Seth attacked me, and I fell to the floor. He struck me in the back of the head and kicked me as I fell to the ground. Dean rushed over to him, pulling him off of me. I turned around and sat up, my eyes focused on Esme as she cried.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

As Esme stood there watching, it felt like her entire world was falling apart. She cared about these three men more than anything, and they were at each other's throats. She just wanted everything to go back to how it used to be before all the arguing and fighting started. It was when she caught Roman's eye that the tears finally came. She hated seeing him hurt. Roman pulled himself up and made his way over to her, but before he could reach her, Seth took hold of her by the waist and led her out of the room.

Esme pulled away from him once she saw where Seth was heading. ''What are you doing?''

''He will not get away with this'' Seth answered

''Please don't'' Esme begged

"What do you mean please don't'' Seth replied ''He attacked me!''

"I know but-"

"But what?" Seth's voice was getting louder.

"You attacked him as well" Esme pointed out

"Are you seriously defending him?" Seth didn't seem to care how upset she was. All he cared about was getting revenge.

''Not this, Seth. Anything but this'' Esme pleaded.

''It's happening'' Seth replied defiantly

Esme was seeing a side to Seth that she didn't like, a side of him she didn't recognise. Maybe she should've heeded Roman's warning after all.

''Besides'' Seth added as he stared up at the plaque on the locker room door, reading Authority ''Maybe getting rid of Roman for a few weeks is what we both need''
