The stage is pitch black as I hold my position steadily. The whispers from the crowd are getting louder and louder. All the other backup dancers are holding their position carefully. They seem so professional.
A drop of sweat falls from my forehead. I start to feel nervous. But all my worries slip away once I see him. Jack appears from the curtains.
He walks slowly to the front of the stage. His outfit matches the other girls outfits. He wears a black leather jacket, a white t-shirt, and black jeans.
Since I'm the main backup dancer my outfit is different. It's a white leather bra and leather shorts with white leather boots. It barely covers much and is a little uncomfortable. My outfit is supposed to stand out from the other girls. To make matters worse I have stage fright. Great. I put my hands on my hip regaining focus.
I stare at Jack's gleaming white hair. It looks so perfect. I can't believe I'm breathing the same air as a celebrity. A really hot celebrity if you ask me. Ahhhh...Jack Frost...even his name sounds perfect. Jack turns around to face me. His cyan blue eyes look so majestic and flawless. And his jawline...his lips...what girl wouldn't want to kiss that.
He mouths the words "Are you ready?" I nod still a little unsure. He smirks at me and then returns to his posture. The music starts playing. That's my cue. The curtains go up revealing to the crowd the one and only Jack Frost. Girls begin screaming and the sound goes ringing in my ear. Jack starts singing and the screams become louder.
The bright light blinds me making me feel dizzy. I try dancing but it's no use. One of the girls bumps into me. I loose my balance and go falling, hitting my head on the floor. My vision becomes blurry. Jack comes by my side saying "Elsa! Hang in there." With a worried expression. I try to say something but nothing comes out. Soon the darkness takes over my sight. The last thing I see is Jack's face. My entire vision is black.
Am I dead?
