I put a sweater over my head and straightened it out. Jumped into my jeans and tied up my hair. I grabbed my book, yanked my phone off the charger and placed it in my back pocket as I walked out the door.
I walked around to the side of the house and went into the trees. I walked, passing trees and crumbling the leaves with every step. I sat against a tree and opened my book and began at 'a tragedy began my day'. We all have tragedies in life and we all Handel them differently. All I knew, was that Hannah was not handling them well at all.
I heard leaves being crushed a ways behind me. I stood and looked at the source of the noise. It was a man with a black jacket and jeans. He came closer and I had to hide a smile. It looked like the boy from yesterday, I started to ask his name, but then I realized he looked older then the boy. as if I was in the future looking at the boy from art after he grew up.
He started walking away, but I had questions to ask him. I yelled "hey, excuse me. Wait up".
He kept walking. I started to pick up my speed but it looked as though he started to run away. I tried to run faster and faster but it seemed as though I was staying in the same place. I started to yell in annoyance because I was running my hardest but not moving. I stopped and struggled for breath. When I was able to breath no turned around and he was there.
His eyes were golden. Not any shade of brown, but a bright gold. It seemed like they almost glowed. It was so beautiful, I've never seen that eye color before. He smiled and took my hand and squeezed it. It dropped by my side and he started to walk away again. I started to run immediately but as he began to disappear I fell. Not on a branch but on a tree root. As I hit the floor, I opened my eyes. I was looking at my ceiling in my room and I was still laying in bed.
