Sophie

Chapter 1

                                                                     The trip

This story is about a group of students (between 13 and 14 years old) that are going to go on a school trip to a forest that is 1000 Km. away. The trip will take six nights and seven days and they are going to stay in big house near the forest. The purpose of this trip is studying the characteristics of the forest and afterwards doing a practical work about it. The group (of about twenty students and some teachers) left in a bus early in the morning and arrived almost at night, it was a long trip in which students had dinner and waited anxiously for the arrival.

After many hours of travel they finally managed to arrive, at first the students were disappointed because they realized that the house was a bit precarious but they were surprised by the size of it. When they got to the door, it opened and all the students got scared because of the appearance of the owner of the house he was a dark man, with circles, the man made you afraid for only seeing him. The man's first words were "come in, we need to talk" the teachers surprised asked him if their was a problem and the man without answering the question said: "¿do you know the legend of this forest?" the teachers thinking that he was going to tell a legend to entertain the students, they invited him to tell it for everyone, the man clarifies: "many people believe that this story is just a legend but a have my doubts", the man smiles and the boys (a bit scared) wanted to hear the story, the man continues: "the story says that this forest has something different from other forests, like a dark side, if someone dies inside of it, the soul of this person will be retained by the forest and because of this caging, this twisted soul will take revenge with whoever it founds". The student’s didn’t expect such a thing so they all reacted in the same way opening there mouths without saying anything. Moreover he ads: "luckily (for you) that i know no one ever died inside of it but be careful don't get lost inside the forest because you won't ever leave".

Some of the students, like this group of five boys Paul, Steve, Mathew, John, Peter and his girlfriend Sophie, weren't scared because they liked that thing about something dark and mystical inside the forest but the rest of the class were more scared. Besides all this thing about the legend they try not to give importance to it and they decide to go to sleep all together.

Chapter 2

                                                                    The joke

The next day the students start walking in the forest all together gathering leaves, branches and barks so that after the journey they can take it to the laboratory of the school and examine them. The five boys and Sophie propose playing a game in groups in which the group that gathers more red leaves wins. The six of them played together in one group. The day passed by and the boys had a lot of fun but it was getting dark so the teachers decided to make a huge fire and have dinner there.

In that moment Sophie comes with the idea of making a joke to the other ones while they are eating but she realizes that she needed help so she resorts to her five friends. While the other ones were gathering branches for the fire the six friends ran to another place to plan the joke for the other ones, but while they are running Peter comes up with the "brilliant" idea of putting a stone in her girlfriends way so that she falls and make fun of her and he succeded on making her fall but something he didn't expected hapenned when she falls she hits her head with a pointing rock and her head starts bleeding very fast without letting the boys do anything about it, when realise she wasn't moving anymore. Peter starts to despair and wants to go and tell the teachers what had happened but Paul stopped him and tells him that if he tells the story they were all going to be blaimed for Sophie's death. So they agree to say that Peter and Sophie fought and she said that she didn't want to see him anymore so she was going to go to the house alone. When the teachers heared the story they ordered everyone to go quickly together to the house so that they could find Sophie.
