Alexandra's/Manami's POV

Have you ever felt smug like, you know what's happening and you know everyone else doesn't so, you know you'll succeed easily while everyone struggles? Yeah, that's me right now.

You see, before the exam started, I told my team that no matter what, we were to help each other throughout everything. During this test, we are to have the best teamwork we ever had. And they agreed.

So right now, I am working on my senses just as I was before I met Zabuza that one fateful day. I was going to listen to the sound of the chūnin's pencil and copy it's movement but I heard a kid next to me, who was cheating mind you, whispering the answers to himself.

Heh, baka. I started copying the answers as he whispered them. When I was done, I checked to see how my team was doing. They seem fine but not done yet.

I looked around to see how I was going to relay the answers when I remembered Yuika's katanas. I threw a pebble that was tiny as hell at it which drew her attention to me because of the vibrations.

I was thinking about how to tell her the information when sand collected on my desk. Gaara. I looked it at confused, but then it formed words. 'Don't worry, I got it... Imouto.' Awwww he's so sweet. ^ω^

In that instant, my teammates were writing faster and finished in less than 5 minutes. I reformed the sand before it could retreat. 'Thank you Aniki. Btw, we must talk after the exams. Privately. Make sure you're not followed. You know where.'

Gaara's POV

What's so important that she needs to talk about? Is it about the joining of the Bijuu? Or something else all together? Is she ok? Did my siblings do something stupid again?

Whatever it is, must be important if she's being secretive about it. Must be wary of the onlookers. I'll just have to wait until this stupid test is over with.

What I'm really worried about is how Manami will react when she knows about our betrayal to the Leaf village. I hope she doesn't hate me. I can't lose her. Not her too.

Alexandra's/Manami's POV

"Alright! Listen up! Here's the tenth and final question" I totally zoned out knowing what the question is about. I was about to fall asleep too when I noticed a certain hand going up.

No, it wasn't Naruto. It was Akumu. My eyes widen in horror. I threw my pencil at her hand. The eraser hit her. Her head snapped towards me and looked apologetic. And looked at Yuika. She was in on it.

I looked at them reassuringly and mouthed 'trust me'. They looked hesitant and like they were about to ignore me but, and thank the lords above, Naruto raised his hand, slammed it, and started his speech.

"DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME!! I WON'T GIVE UP AND I WON'T RUN AWAY!! YOU CAN KEEP A GENIN FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!! I DON'T CARE!! I'LL BECOME HOKAGE NO MATTER WHAT!!! BELIEVE IT!!!" Thank you Naruto.

She put her hand down. I sighed softly, relieved that everything wasn't in vain. Once that whole commotion was over with I went up to Akumu and Yuika.

"You guys gave me a heart attack. I just wanted to sleep. Is that too much to ask for?" I told them. "What made you both freak out so much anyway? You guys are smart, brave, and stubborn as fuck. So why?"

They shared a glance. "Well, to be quite honest with you, you've told us your dream and... We know about Hanzo-sama being your dad. We feared that if we got the answer wrong and you stayed a genin Hanzo-sama would be mad at us." I deadpanned.

"So, you were acting on fear of my dad. Nice. Next time, act according to mission. That's what we're here for guys. I swear I don't want to sound like a bitch but, we're here to test our skills. Don't worry about me or my dad. Worry about us as a team. Worry about the mission. Got it?"

They looked slightly ashamed. "Don't feel bad, you didn't know ok? It's cool." Now they just looked straight out guilty.

"We're not ashamed of what happened anymore... It's just that... Uhhh earlier... We uh... I guess... Idk how to explain. We might have... Accidentally... Insinuated to both Shino and Shika that... You like them? ButItWasAnAccidentWeSwear!!"

I twitched but I kept my voice scarily calm. "You did what?" They were laughing nervously.

"I have no time for this. You're so going to get it when I see you next. That's a promise." I glared at them and poofed away.

I met with Gaara at the outside of the village by a small lake. However when I got there, standing before me, was not Gaara, but Shino.

Shino had his back to me, examining an insect of a really pretty flower. I was backing away but, like in any cliche story, I stepped on a twig. Fuck my life man.

Shino didn't flinch though, nor did he turn around. "I knew you were here, why? Because I heard you transport here." Oh yeah, I forgot it's kinda loud in quiet places like this.

"Right. Ummm..." I started but couldn't think of what to say. I wonder what he's thinking of?

Gaara's POV

I was there. But I noticed that bug guy there first. Then Manami showed up. I must say she's entertaining to watch.

The only reason I don't show myself is because I overheard her teammates earlier tell that Shikamaru guy she liked them.

I want to see how this ends.

Alexandra's/Manami's POV

'Ay Dios mio santo por favor matame. Ahorita.' I thought to myself. He was bringing it up low key. That sly son of a biscuit.

"Your team is interesting. Why? Because they are good friends and tricky at the same time." He said.

I blushed. "Ehehe yeah, they're dead meat too when I see them next." I said slightly angry.

Suddenly, I somehow tripped and Shino caught me. "Are you alright?" He asked me, I nodded and looked at the ground.

'Hmm. I don't remember that mound of dirt being there...' I looked up and came face to face with Shino. Like, his nose was touching mine. That close.

We froze. I couldn't move. Worse part?

"Manami?" Here comes Shikamaru. Followed by my team. Fuck. My. Life.
