"Hey, Phil?" I ask, looking away from my laptop. Phil is sprawled out on his bed, Buffy comic in hand and a huge grin on his face. I move my body, shifting in my spot on the floor of his apartment. On the screen there's a detailed story about Phil and me. I stumbled across the work while browsing Tumblr, a site I had just recently signed onto.

"Yeah?" Phil sets the comic aside and moves closer. I tense up as he hovers over my shoulder, reading the words I have displayed for him. His cheeks heat immediately and he pulls away after a few moments of concentration. The plot of the fan fiction consisted of us going on a date and then afterwards returning to Phil's place for a steamy make out session. I didn't really know what to think of it.

"I guess people think we're together." I say. Phil nods and grabs Buffy again. It doesn't take him long until he's able to find a comfortable position. I decide to read the story again. This time I picture it actually happening. A chill runs down my spine. It would be weird kissing Phil. I'm not against the fact that we're both the same gender but he's my best friend. I had never really thought about him like that.

"It's a bit weird, isn't it?" Phil asked, shaking me from my thoughts. I turn my head and look at him. He's gazing at me intensely as if my answer would change what side the sun sets on.

I sigh, "Yeah, I guess. We do spend a lot of time together though so I can't really blame them." He smiles. Phil swings his legs over the side of the bed. When he stands he stumbles a bit but catches himself before he topples over and onto the ground. He comes to sit by me and I smile at him and scroll down to another story. They've been flooding my inbox lately it was a bit difficult to ignore them.

"You should read a couple out loud." He giggles, covering his mouth with his hand. I laugh mockingly but do what he says anyways. "The night is dark and stormy as Dan had suspected before deciding on a trip to the store. He tugs against his windbreaker, shielding the rain from soaking his hair and letting his curls loose. Lightening strikes over head and Dan flinches away. A shiver runs across his body as he spots a man standing in the middle of the street. Lightning dances around the man creating a light show of eeriness." I pause to take a breath.

"Skip ahead, to the good part." I sigh and roll my eyes, knowing exactly what he means. I scroll down towards the end and start to read once more.

"'D-Don't do this!' Dan shouts. The rain begins to quicken and the wind starts to howl, drowning out most of his words. The man grins, baring his fangs. He grabs Dan by his coat and pulls him into an alley. Dan whimpers against the mans force. 'Who are you?!' He screams. The man just chuckles. The street lamps across from us explode, showering the street with glass." I stop and look over at Phil who has been reading along with me. He makes no notion that I need to stop.

"The man grins, his bright blue eyes shine even in the darkness. He grabs Dan's hands in one swift movement, pinning him against the brick wall of the building behind them. Dan watches in horror as the mans eyes move toward him, inching closer and closer to his neck. He flinches, closing his eyes as the man sinks his teeth into Dan's neck. 'You have no idea how long I have wanted this.' The man says. Dan stays still, his eyes widen in horror and he struggles against the mans grip. He would know that voice anywhere. 'Phil! Stop it!' Dan shouts. Phil ignores his pleads and bites Dan again, drawing more blood from his best friend. Before Dan can pass out, Phil forces himself away. Instead of returning to his neck, Phil presses his lips against Dan's, smearing blood on both of their faces."

I stop yet again. My cheeks are flushed and my throat is dry from all of the talking. Phil glances at me and I smile at him warily. "Are you alright, Dan?" I nod my head and inhale slowly before reading on.

"Slowly, Phil's hands wander down to Dan's belt and a moan escapes his lips as Phil tugs violently in an attempt to free the clasp that's holding Dan's pants up. Finally, it breaks and Phil's hands continue to wander into the other boys boxers, tugging against them until they come down." I cough and Phil glances at me.

"We, um, we know what happens after this." I laugh nervously and rub the back of my neck.

"Are you getting flustered Dan?" Phil's teasing me, I know it. I don't want to read any more. My throat is getting dry and I can feel my cheeks heating more and more with each word I say. I can't help but imagine these things actually happening and I don't hate it as much as before. The idea of kissing Phil is actually intriguing.

"A bit, I guess. It's just weird." He laughs and I shove my laptop away and lean back against his bed.
