Surviving The Games

Chapter Nine- Deja Vu

  I knew it was her, Crescent, the moment I heard that laugh. I spun around, looking for her, but when I found her she looked exactly like she did in my dream. She had deep blue eyes, the blue jumpsuit. She has blood on her hands, face, and in her blonde hair that reaches her waist. She starts to convulse and says in a cackling voice," Ryan I've been expecting you." She pulls out a knife and throws it at me.

   It misses my right ear by an inch and gets stuck in a tree hilt deep. Than Aspen and Torn show up, and I run. I hear a cannon in the distance and see a helicopter fly over to where the Careers just were. A rope grabs Torn and carries him up into the Helicopter. I walk back towards the careers and I heard Aspen screaming at Crescent, "WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT FOR!" "He was going to kill me, so I killed him first." Crescent answers.

  I know what I have to do. I have to end this girls life before she goes completely insane and ruins Aspens life ,too. She is a menace to society. I run in and throw my Zulu Knife at her. It hits just below the neck where I was aiming and she starts bleeding really badly. It must have hit her Jugular vein. Aspen looks towards me and nods a silent thank you. I then walk towards Crescent and slit her throat. I hear the cannon really close this time.

  We are not allowed to kill each other because Crescent is dead, which leaves four of us left. Two from district ten survived, but I don't know how. Then Aspen and I survived. We were taken in the same helicopter, and we were frozen in place while in it, but we could talk to each other. I learned to really like her, and we became fast friends. Her brown hair went down to her shoulders. She had silver eyes, not gray like district twelve citizens. She was also kind of tall.

   When we got back to the capitol, we were separated and taken to our stylists who cleaned us up. Rachel was so excited for me that I survived. I will tell you what happened this time. She waxed me all over, except, well, you know. Then she made me stand in the shower while her helpers cleaned me up. After that she dressed me in the same suit as before, or at lest I thought it was. She told me to press the gem right next to my tie. It was amazing. Rachel had done a nice job with the suit design.

Authors note- You will have to wait and see what the suit thing was. hehe. So I know I haven't updated in like forever so hopefully this long chapter will make up for it.
