High school love story (Boyxboy)

Chapter one

It was just like any other normal day. For another normal teenager. Well for me it was a normal day if you consider normal being a gay boy in a very homophobic high school. I never understood why my parents felt
the need to get up and move from a nice neighborhood right outside of downtown seattle to the other side of the country to some overly rich fancy neighborhood in the suburbs of jacksonville florida. Maybe it was because they thought seattle was to liberal and i was being exposed to too much well jokes on the because guess who turned out gay? Oh you were thinking me weren't you well yes but my parents didn't know they couldn't because when the found out my sister was and ended not talking to her for a week, well if she couldn't tell after that week she was gone without so much of a goodbye to any of us.
Well now that you one of two of my biggest secrets not that the whole entire student body didn't know already. I think wearing a shirt with a rainbow colored equal sign gave me away. I should probably tell you a little bit about myself; my name is Carter Hendrickson. im 16 and i've lived in jacksonville for about a year now, I may or may not have a really stupid crush on a really hot guy named devon. I found out just recently that because of the over exposure to sunlight my brown has now gone to a dark caramel color. I'm bullied way to much for being gay. Oh and the best part is I have no friends here , and all my old friends have somehow stopped talking to me. So except for my books and music i'm pretty much alone in life which is cool you know.
so my first day back from summer break my third year of high school was just the year i needed to jump start my life it was a really cool year because i fell in love and my bully stopped being her normal hateful self oh and you know i finally stopped cutting and hating myself. Oops looks like the cats out of the bag. Well whatever, what did you expect my family and everybody here hates me so of course I would cut. It's not like I wanted to it kinda just happened. So first day of school yeah let's get back to that, yeah? Sound good? Okay then here we go.
So it's started how expected, kinda, as I walk in the doors there's Ashly just kinda in my face saying hurtful names again. You'd think after all the names she calls me her mouth would've fallen off but unfortunately it hasn't yet. Though not as expected Devon wasn't constantly backing her up calling me more names. Dear they're following me again not sure why. I thought they had better things to do, well looks like the finally do which is just going off to follow Kevin. I'm lost, i think, wait, found it! God this school is torture, but whatever it's just life. And I'm late, wow carter really ahead of things and time. You know me I'm like the best at all this school stuff, like tota..... Where is the goddamn classroom I swear this school is trying to get me in trouble. Thankfully after searching for a while I find my class and the teacher lets it slide just this once. Super cool except for you know the fact Ashly and Devon just happened to me in my class and the only seat left is the one in front of them. Gosh this is just wow I've seriously have the world's best luck. The rest of the day kinda drones on with the teachers only just telling us rules and things we'll be working on. As for lunch well I do what any sane friendless person does I hide out in the bathroom. The rest of the next couple weeks drag and the homework just keeps piling up. I thought that was just how the rest of my year was going to go.
