Chapter 2

Ashley's POV

My mom and I started to walk to the diner. Has Taylor changed? Is he still my rainbow brother?
I'm about to find out.
"ASHLEY!"
"TAYLOR!"
I quickly ran up and hugged my brother.
"Ashley, I haven't seen you in so long. We have so much to catch up on..."

I quickly eyed the (hot) boy sitting at the table next to Taylor'sweatshirt. (it was rainbow tie-dye, of course)
I finally realized that Taylor was still talking to me and I snapped back into reality.
"...I'm so glad that you're here. I missed you so much!"
"Yeah, I missed you too."
"I can't believe that you're going to live with me for a whole year!"

We kept talking about how excited we were and then finally sat down at our table.

"If you're wondering, this my friend Nash."
He was so hot. Maybe I underestimated how bad this trip would be.

"Hi Nash, I'm Ashley."
"Nice to meet you beautiful."

I could feel my face turning red at the compliment. Nobody has ever called me beautiful except my family.

"Uh, thanks, nice to meet you too."

For the rest of the meal I was silent. I couldn't think of anything to say. I was probably still blushing from the compliment Nash gave me.

Nash's POV

I heard Taylor scream and I immediately looked up from my phone. That must be his sister.

She is beautiful.

I quickly looked away when I saw her glance at me. What was she thinking about me?

They came to the table and Taylor finally decided to introduce me.

"If you're wondering, this is my friend Nash."
"Hi Nash, I'm Ashley."

She spoke to me. I decided to make a move right then and there.

"Nice to meet you beautiful."

I could see her starting to blush like crazy.
"Uh, thanks, nice to meet you too."

Ashley didn't say a word for the rest of the meal. I hope she doesn't hate me.

Ashley's POV

I was so quiet. I was just thinking about what Nash said to me.
Who would call me beautiful?
Taylor finally caught the jist that we should get going.

"Well we should get on the road. We have to drive to California to get the rest of the boys."

"Good idea sweetie. Well, I'm gonna go home now. Have a good time Ashley!"

And my not-so-bad trip starts now.
