Paige sat silently on one of the lime green, plastic chairs outside of Yogen Früz and looked up at the blue, cloudless sky. The slight breeze in the air cooled her warm, tan skin and rumpled her lilac, floral print tank top. The perky fourteen year old extended her long legs onto one of the empty chairs at the table and sighed. It was the last Friday of the summer and Paige was spending it getting some frozen yogurt with her big sister. Paige had gotten her usual order: cake batter yogurt topped with strawberries, it reminded her of strawberry shortcake. She put her dish down on the wobbly table and grabbed a strand of her blonde, curly hair and twirled it repeatedly between her thin fingers. She couldn't believe that in just two and a half short days she would be starting her freshman year of high school.
