Chapter 23: Coming Home

>Unknown's POV<

            I slammed my hands on the desk. "Damn he just doesn't die" I said to myself. No matter what the circumstances Nate just doesn't die. Niall is mine and I deserve him more than anyone else!!  I look at the photo one more time and then push it down my pocket and exit my hotel room.

[Back to Hospital]

>Nate's POV<

            My eyes felt heavy, and my muscles all tingly. What is this?? I open my eyes and Niall is resting his head on my chest, sleeping. "I see you're awake. Good to know. How are you??" A voice says. I look towards the voice. It's Liam. I smile and say, "Liam. You're here. Also yeah I'm doing okay right now. Just Niall is kind of on me and it hurts just a bit." Liam smiles and moves Niall to my side. I hear another knock and I say, "Come in!" The door opens and there is Kevin. "Hey buddy. How's everything??" I look at him puzzled after he rubs my head." Kevin, what are you doing here?? Aren't you supposed to be on missions and stuff?? He chuckled and said, "I would, but we've been put on break for 2 years after catching a valuable member of a terrorist group in Iraq. So since my team hasn't go anything to do, we asked Simon if we could be your security guards."

            I smile and say, "SWEET!! Now we get to catch up on all the years of not seeing each other. He laughs, and when he calms down he asks, "Well I'm just going to run a quick run off to the store and back. Do you guys want me to get you anything??" I smile and say, "Yeah can you get me a Venti, Double Chocolately Chip Frappuccino with whip." He nods and then Liam says, "I'll have the same." Kevin nods and then he asks, "Anything else?" I then look down at Niall and then back at Kevin saying while pointing down at Niall, "Yeah. You might need to get my boyfriend some food because he can be cranky when he doesn't get food when he wakes up." I look at Liam and he chuckles, with Kevin chuckling a bit after. Kevin leaves the room and everything goes silent again.

            Another knock echoes through the door, and when the door opens, there is Josh, the drummer of our band, with a bouquet of roses and a teddy bear. "Hey Nate." I waved at him, giving him a cheerful smile. He put them at the table beside me and then a picture fell from his pocket. I glanced down and a shiver runs down my spine. It's a picture of me and Niall and then a red circle around my face. I look up at Josh who then goes down to pick up the pictures. I try to say something but horror takes over and I can't say anything. Was he the one behind all this?? Then Josh looks at me and smiles, and says, "Well hope you get better Nathan."

            I try to say something but I can't. Then a voice says, "You alright?" I snap out of my thoughts and look at Liam. He looks concerned and I croak out, "I'm just thinking." He tilts his head to the side and asks, "About what?" I look down at Niall and then say, "Something. Just forget it." After that Kevin comes back with our food. "Sorry guys, I also got food for the others. They were starving they could have eaten all the hospital food." He said with chuckle after. I then look down and shake Niall awake. He looks at me and smiles. I capture his lips with mine, and then after, I tell him, "Kevin brought us food."

            Niall jumps off the bed, and snatches the food & my drink from Kevin and sits back on the bed hospital bed with me. He takes out the fries and then he starts eating. He looks at me and then hands me my Frappuccino. I roll my eyes with a smile, and down my drink. Man I miss these things so much. The door opens and Louis, Harry, Zayn, and Lindsay come through the door. A phone rings and Kevin takes it out and answers it. Then he walks out the door and everything goes silent and then Lindsey asks, "How you feeling bro?" I smile and say back, "Good thanks!!'

 "So I just got a call from Simon and he wants us on the plane back to Nathan's place for a bit. Then a week from then we'll head over to the studio to record a new album."
