Chapter 13

Brittany's P.O.V.

I walked into the mall feeling the cold air drift on my skin. My eyes drifted around the mall "were should we go first?" I asked.

she tapped her foot "well...we could go to Carson's dress store" she said looking down the mall.

"what are you looking at?" I asked squinting.

"the store" she said looking back towards the store.

"how can you see it?" I said looking for it.

She laughed "I'm a vampire you never guessed it?" she said looking at me.

My eye's fluttered over her pale skin "well I never thought of it and your on too" I said sighing.

We started walking down the mall "yeah Nathan and I dated 20 years ago. So I would be way older than this" she said giggling.

I smiled "most vampires eyes turn dark when there hungry but my shine like stars. The glow so bad that people could see them a mile away in the dark. My eye's only get dark when I'm angry or upset" she said. I looked at her but didn't know what to say.

"I know shocker right, you don't have to say anything i understand" she said walking towards Carson's dress store.

"So are you and Damian like dating or something?" she asked me when we walked into the store

"Um you could say that" i said looking through dresses

"What was so funny on your phone on the way here?" she asked again

"Nathan sent a text say he missed me and hoped i would spend a lot of money, and i said oh you mean the credit card that is in two leave me alone you jackass" i said looking at a blue short cocktail dress, "If he thinks he is going to buy my love then he has another thing coming" i said still looking at the drees i looked at the price and winced.

"Hey Destiny?" i asked her she was on the other side of the rack looking

"hmm?" was her response

"Can we go to a different store this one is a bit pricey" i said

"Oh it's no biggie, i kinda hoped you didn't snap his credit card because we could have gone crazy, but anyways, it's my treat for being so nice to me" she said and looked at the dress i had in my hands her eyes lightened up, "Try it on" she squealed i laughed at her and walked to the dressing room's

"Destiny find a pink one i think you will look gorgeous in a pink cocktail dress" i yelled out to her

"Okay" she yelled back to me

i smiled and slipped the dress on i looked in the mirror and loved it

I walked out the dressing room only to see a very disgruntled Destiny, "Um what's wrong?" i asked her

"Well long story short there's a werewolf in the store, or should i say she is the cashier" she said annoyingly "those exist to!" I sighed. she nodded "well come on, it's not going to hurt you" i said and smiled

"Oh ha-ha" she said sarcastically grabbing the blue cocktail dress and my dress and taking it up to the register.

She looked at us and gave look of disgust to Destiny, "Will that be all today?" she sneered

"I looked over to Destiny and could tell that she was fuming

"Yes" I said before Destiny said anything she looked at me i seen her name tag, "That will be all Desiree" i said smiled and took the bags while Destiny paid

She smiled at me i turned around and grabbed Destiny's arm and dragged her out of the store

"Um I am ready to go home" i said smiling at her

She glared at me, "Maybe you shouldn't imprint then leave the person behind" She said angriliy

"Huh?" i said looking at her confused how the hell did she know me and Damian imprinted

"I can smell it on you duh" she said walking towards the exit

"Come on let's get you back to your mate" she said walking out the door i ran and caught up with her

i got in the car and smiled at her she smiled back and started the drive towards my new home.
