(This is for my close friend Corinne, or blurrywoozi because that Jeonghan imagine you made for me affected me so much that I wasn't able to function for hours. xD I LOVE YOU~!)
We met in our freshmen year of high school, Jihoon and I. I started off as a normal foreign transfer student, or as just a transfer student in general. There were the people who didn't think much of my arrival, as well as the people who welcomed it happily and the others who despised anyone who was new, for no reason whatsoever.
Coming in during the second semester, most of the people already had their groups of friends, so I felt like I wouldn't really fit in as much. Barely anyone payed attention to me, as their attention was always on someone else.
That was, until one day when I saw someone being pushed back and slamming into the lockers.
Ever since I was little, I could tolerate bullying that was directed towards me, but of course when you're little, it's just light, mindless teasing, and as you grow up, the harassment progressively gets more and more serious.
Even if I could tolerate it on my own, I couldn't stand it when it happened to someone else, whether it be a friend, a family member or a completely random stranger.
Walking up to the two people, now surrounded by others who wanted to watch what was happening, I pushed through the group and stood in the front, first trying to figure out what was going on.
There was a tall person with dyed dark blue hair that was slicked to the back, and a short person with black hair, long enough to hang down in front of his left eye. The short person was pinned to the lockers, and then came a loud "bang" as he was slammed again.
"Stop!" I yelled, stepping out of the crowd a bit. The tall person snapped his head back and looked at me, a wicked smirk plastered on his face.
"And why would I do that?" He asked, still pinning the other against the lockers as he turned towards me.
"Because what you're doing isn't right. Do you thing bullying is going to get yourself anywhere?" I responded, glaring at him a bit.
"Well, look at how far it got me! I've got all the friends and trust I need~" He smiled and I immediately scoffed.
"Your 'friends' are around you, not out of loyalty, but out of fear. It happens to every bully, and this may seem like your peak, but as soon as you fall down from it, they're going to leave you. It's happened before. Every light, no matter how brilliant, eventually flickers and dies."
"Oh really? And how do you know so mu-" He was cut off by a sudden kick to the stomach, sending him stumbling back a bit in shock. He looked at the black-haired kid who wasn't pinned to the lockers by his grip anymore. "Do you WANT to die?" He growled.
"Maybe you should ask yourself that question. You just caught me off guard and that's why you caught me there." The boy said and looked at me afterwards. "Thank you for trying to help me. I appreciate it. I'm Jihoon. What's your name?" He asked kindly.
"Corinne." I smiled slightly, still a bit shocked at what just happened and looked past Jihoon's shoulder at the other person, who now had a scowl on his face as he turned and walked away.

Jihoon and I eventually became best friends throughout the rest of high school. We both stuck with each other through thick and thin; hardships, celebrations and more. At the time, I wasn't really sure about what my dream was, but Jihoon knew his, and I supported him as he chased it.
Wanting to be an idol who sings and dances on stage, hopefully becoming an influence on helping others follow their dreams as he was trying to do so, he still didn't think he could do it.
"But Corinne... What if they don't like my singing? What if I never get in?" He asked, a worried frown across his face.
"Jihoon, you're going to do great. You need to realize how amazing and talented you already are." I said, looking at him.
"Do... Do you really think I can do it..?" He lifted his head up slightly.
"Absolutely. You're amazing, and anyone with half a brain can see it." I smiled and he did as well, pulling me into a gentle hug. But, for some reason, he didn't let go.
"Corinne... I have something to tell you...." Jihoon said softly into my ear.
"U-Uhm... What is it?" I asked hesitantly, wondering why he wasn't letting go.
"A few weeks after we met," he began, "I started to like you..." He finally began to pull away, but kept his gaze locked with mine. "At first, I thought it would have just been a normal crush, but as time went on, I realized how serious my feelings for you have gotten." He was nervous as he was saying this, but gathered the courage to continue. "Every moment with you, I cherished. Every time you would call my name, my heart would speed up slightly. Whenever we were apart, I didn't feel complete. Eventually, I realized that, Corinne, I don't like you." Jihoon said, which made me confused for a moment before he finished. "I love you."

His confession was six years ago, and since then, we've been a happy couple and he was a successful artist, placed into the group of 13 members, "SEVENTEEN."
Though because of his schedule, we didn't get much time to spend with each other, but whenever we did see each other, it felt like the greatest thing that could ever happen, happened, and that was pretty much true.
But it's been three months since I've last seen him. SEVENTEEN was on a world tour and, though I was glad that thousands of fans around the world were happy, I still longed to see him again, and I couldn't wait until we met again.

It was another week or so before I heard the doorbell ring. "I'm coming!" I shouted as I ran through the house to see who showed up, expecting it to be one of my friends as usual. Though, as I unlocked and opened the door, in front of me stood a 5'4 man with a grey suit and dyed light orange hair. "JIHOON!" I screamed and immediately jumped onto him, wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck.
"Surprise~" He laughed and put his arms around me to hold me up. Then planted a kiss on my forehead. "I missed you so much, Corinne~" Jihoon smiled and ruffled my hair.
"I missed you too!" I said, burying my face into his neck. Then felt him begin to move around before I was set down onto the couch, him standing in front of me.
"I still have one more surprise for you." Jihoon smiled.
"Oh? What is it?" I cocked my head to the side a bit and looked up at him when he stuck his hand into his pocket and knelt down onto one knee, pulling a small, purple velvet box out. Then looking into your eyes, he smiled and opened the box, a diamond ring inside.
"Corinne, will you marry me?'
