CHAPTER 27

POV'S SHIFTING HERE

BRAD'S POV

I caught Alex as she collapsed. "Bring her to her room now!" Sam said. I carried her bridal style and brought her to her room and laid her on her bed. After a few mins Sam Dane Katlyn and Austin rushed upstairs with a towel and a first aid kit. We started treating her wounds and we also called Norman. When Norman got here I explained everything from seeing her to treating her. He looked worried. Sam and Dane were very worried they were not just best friends they were like sisters.
(A/N WEW SISTERS) I excused my self and started walking back to the gate and I found the chest that Alex brought with her and I decided to bring it back. On my way back I felt someone following me but it disappeared as soon as I got inside the house. The feeling wasn't a threat it was more like a stalking feeling or something. I ignored it and continued my shift.

ALEX'S POV

I suddenly felt cold water being dabbed on my forehead. I opened my eyes and suddenly everyone had a look of relief on their face. "Whats going on?" I asked them. "You were out for two days..." Austin said. "Two days for that beating??" I asked them. "You were badly bruised." Sam said. "Oh..." I said. "Can I go out?" I asked them. "Yeah but you can't work yet unless tower shift." Dane said. "Why?" I asked them and they looked at me and I noticed that my arm was on a cast. "Its not broken just badly sprained." Katlyn said. Norman entered the room carrying a tray of soup. When he saw me awake he formed a big smile on his face. He placed down the soup and his crossbow and rushed to the bed to hug me. "You're alive and awake!" He said. "Uncle N... I was passed out not dying." I told him jokingly and hugged him back but not tightly. "Sam they need you at your house right now the boys burned the kitchen again." Norman said and Sam face palmed her self and stood up waving goodbye. "See ya!" Sam said. "And Dane Mr Lover's down stairs." Norman said. "Mr. Who now?" Dane asked. Norman laughed and pointed to the window where you can see a Luke Hemmings standing outside dancing around to who knows what. Dane laughed and she said bye and went down stairs. As for Katlyn Austin and Norman they had shifts to attend to. "Better stay here for the day first." Norman said. They left the room leaving me alone. I blew on my hair and slumped down on my bed. Suddenly the door creaked open. I looked at who it was and saw Chandler. I wasn't in the mood to get mad but I don't know how long I can manage this.

CHANDLER'S POV

I entered her room and she looks at me confused. "What do you want?" She asks me. "Before I answer please no cutting of this time." I said and she kept quiet but nodded after. "I wanted to know what happened to you." I told her. "Can't you already see that I'm injured." She said. "No... Yes... Ugh... No not that I wanted to now the cause I wanted to know if this happened because of me." I told her and she giggles. "Do have such a big head Chandler not everything that happens to me has something to do with you." She tells me and I smile. "Then what happened?" I asked her. The smile on her face faded and turned into a frown. "Chandler its none of your business..." She tells me. "But I'm your best friend." I tell her. "Chandler I don't know anymore not after what you've done not after what you said not after you hurt me. It hurts you know that it hurts to lose someone who's very important to your life who was with you when you needed that person. Who knew that the one person could be changed by one thing and its love. Chandler I would have liked it better if you told me the truth that you were planing something special I could have helped you.But instead... Instead you lied to me." She said with tears forming in her eyes. "Alex... Look I'm sorry will you ever forgive me?" I asked her. She gives a sad smile. "I don't really know Chandler we'll see... But to tell you the truth I miss you." She said and I smiled. "I miss you too." I told her. "Umm can you leave now I kinda want to be alone." She said and I nodded and left here there alone. I have been there ever since I saw Brad carry the chest in the house. I miss this place I miss my room I miss Katlyn Austin but most of all I miss Alex. I went home and saw Katie cooking dinner in the kitchen. Inside DZ its like a normal world but outside its a chaotic deadly place. I hugged Katie from behind and I kissed her. I was so happy that there may be an actual chance of my best friend forgiving me. "What go you so happy?" She asks me. "Nothing." I told her and smiled and pecked her on her lips
and made my way to our room. And before I knew it I was being called for dinner.

NORMAN'S POV(A/N Were you expecting that 😁)

I started walking when I realized that I left my crossbow inside Alex's room. "Katlyn Austin you go on ahead I forgot my crossbow." The exact cross bow I used in TWD I grew attached to it. I was glad to find out that Alex is alright. To me she's like a daughter not just a Niece. I was walking back already when I heard Alex talking to someone in her room. "Chandler I don't know anymore not after what you've done not after what you said not after you hurt me. It hurts you know that it hurts to lose someone who's very important to your life who was with you when you needed that person. Who knew that the one person could be changed by one thing and its love. Chandler I would have liked it better if you told me the truth that you were planing something special I could have helped you.But instead... Instead you lied to me." I heard her say. So thats why she did all of those things I listened to the rest of their conversation until I heard Chandler come out of the room
and I hid behind the desk. When he left I entered Alex's room. And when she saw me her face turned red. "How much of that did you hear?" She asked me. "Lets just say not all but I want you explain."  I told her and she blows her hair away from her face and sighs. "Ok fine. " She said and I nodded my head to tell her to continue. "Well... Me and Chandler kinda fought a few days ago. I asked him to hang out cause you know I miss him he said yes but the next day I caught him with Katie they were kissing and I found out he lied to me he told Michael that I she was more important than me." She said as tears were at the corners of her eyes she blinked them away. I knew Alex liked Chandler but she doesn't know that I know because the way she looks at him is different on how a girl will look at her best friend. To bad Chandler doesn't see it. "The reason why I'm mad at him is cause... I guess cause me lied to me thats all." She said and I stared at her. "Alex I know the truth I know that you're not only mad at him for lying to you. You're mad at him because he loves another girl when the whole time you were there with him and yet he never notices you. You're mad at him cause you're sick of being treated like a best friend and not something more. Alex you like Chandler and I see it." I tell her and a tear rolls down her cheek and I wiped it with my thumb. "But seeing that you miss him. Look Alex he left you with pain and sadness but I know you know the truth that in the end he's still the one in your heart." I said pointing to her heart and she smiled. "Get some rest and think about if you can forgive him." I told her and kissed her forehead. I tucked her in her bed and grabbed my crossbow and left the house feeling like a father. Suddenly Luke came running towards me.
