Part 13

Dan's POV

My eyes fluttered open realizing that I am in Phil's room. I stayed over, I didn't even tell my mum. We were supposed to meet up tomorrow for the lunch, to open out to our parents. I didn't want to wake up Phil, so I decided to leave a letter for him.

Dear Phil,

I didn't inform my mum about staying over for the night, she must be worried. I didn't want to wake you up so I am writing this letter to you. And I promise that tomorrow everything will be alright.

I went out the door and closed it behind me. I was walking over to my house, when I got home I saw my mum sleeping on the couch. She was probably waiting for me. I walk over to her and kiss her head. She open her eyes and stares at me.

"Dan where were you dear I was so worried you didn't get home last night." she said very worried.

"I'm sorry mum I was over at Phil's and I stayed the night cause I didn't want to walk back home, and I am really sorry for not informing you." I said.

"It's okay dear, but please inform me when you will be going or staying over anytime."

"Yeah. Mum I want to talk to you about something." I said kind nervous.

"You know that you can tell me anything right, what is it?"

"Mum I know that you are okay with me being gay and in a relationship with a boy, but you know that dad is homophobic and he won't except me." I said, I was literally about to start crying.

"Yeah Dan I know that your dad is homophobic, but maybe we can figure it out. Don't worry Dan I will try talking to him." My mum said having a little hope.

"This is the reason Phil and I decided to plan get together with his family and discuss about this, because even he is not sure that his parents will be alright with us."

"Okay Dan, your dad will be back from his business trip tonight and I will talk to him about the lunch tomorrow."

This is the reason I loved my mum she is always so supportive, I can always talk to her about anything.
