Starbucks is like your MD. They don't want you to stay long. Just long enough to get your prescripted dose. Perfect example is Starbucks leaving on the A/C on at night and on cold days. They never once put the heater on. Reason being is, that you take valuable space ,they don't want you to sit there and enjoy your time with your tasteless coffee. They want you to buy you dry coffee that your hooked on by the tit and leave. The fact is that employees have no access to the thermostat and are forced to work, the only method for them to stay warm...just like your MD whose diagnosis and treatment is based on what insurance companies endorse. Infact, your MD receives incentives to not see the same patient for more than once in a month and at 15 min intervals . This method gives insurance companies the most financial income. The solution to the problem ? Take a heated blanket , homemade coffee and force your MD to assign you exact diagnosis with exact bacteria that is causing the infection prior to prescribing you a broad spectrum antibiotic like amoxicillin. Question is what can you do against large corporations? Answer is nothing for they are backed by Wall Street which in turn is backed and run by politicians.
