Laur's POV

The thought of shawn lingers in my mind.
He's gone for 2 months. He's on tour with Taylor Swift.
I cant wait for him to come back.
Me and Shawn have been best friends since first grade. He has always been there for me. A couple of years ago my mom left us. I was very close to my mom. We did everything together. I have no clue why she left but im determined to find out.
A tear ran down my face. I try not to think about my mom.
"It will be okay. I promise." Shawns voice echos in my mind. Ive always had a crush on Shawn. I love him. But I know the feelings aren't mutual.
I live with my dad. My dad...hasnt been doing very well. He lost his job. I know he is trying. He has went to four job interviews this week. My thoughts were interrupted by my dad walking in.
"Laur?" He looks sad, but thats normal.

"Yea?"

"Shawns on the phone" he called my house phone....thats weird. I get up and walk to the phone. My dad walks away.

"Hey Laur! Shawn says

"Hey"

"Whats wrong?"

"Nothing." He knows im lying.

"I know you're not. Tell me the truth"

"I miss you and im thinking about my mom" I blurt out.

"I miss you too! And it will be okay, Laur. I promise. I have something to tell you!" Ugh I love him so much. I wonder what he has to tell me.

"What?" I ask nervously

"Im coming home tomorrow!!!" As soon as he said that I couldn't help but smile.

"YAY SHAWN I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!"

"I LOVE YOU MORE" then it goes silent. Hes never said that before. It was really awkward, but inside I was smiling! I cant wait to see him!

"Well I have to go, Shawn I looooovvvve youuuuuu" I tell him

"I love you too"

Shawn's POV

"Bro when are you going to tell her?" Andrew asks.
You may be wondering who "her" was?
Well she is the girl im in love with, Lauren Waters.
She is so amazing! She's incredibly Beautiful and effortlessly flawless! I love the way her long brown hair swings right above her hips and when she brades it little hairs frame her face. She makes me so happy. When i met her in first grade I knew she was a keeper. He eyes were a bright Green, her eyes now were grey and dull. She struggles depression. I remember when I found out she cut herself. She fell asleep on my couch so I decided to carry her to my room to sleep on my bed like she usually does when she sleeps over. Thats when I saw them. Cuts going up and down her arms. I didnt know what to do..so I just cried. I held her in my arms and cried. She always talks bad about herself. She calls herself ugly, fat, etc. I just want to tell her how much she means to me.

"Shawn?!" Andrew said half way between yelling and talking like a normal person would.

"Oh yeah im sorry I'll call her" I pick up my phone and dial her house phone number so I can talk to her dad about it first.

*after conversation*
"Andrew i just told her I loved her more"

"Shes a keeper Shawn. Dont mess this up." And with those words we got on a plane to go to the next venue.
