After a few more long and boring classes it is time for dinner, or as we call it the Halloween feast. "I'm so excited!" I squeal as Rose and I link arms and skip to the dinning hall.
"Me too." Rose agrees happily.
"I still don't get why you were sleeping on Ablus' s shoulder the other day though." She says as we approach the great oak wood doors.
"Good evening ladies," Nearly Headless Nick says passing us.
"Good evening to you too!" I says smiling.
"Why are you skipping?" A voice says behind me making me jump.
"Myrtle! Don't scare me like that!" I say turning around to face Myrtle the ghost and laughing.
"I was going to ask you that too," Rose complains.
I shrug and then shudder as Myrtle flys through me disappearing in the crowd.
"Hey look there's Scorpius and Albus," Rose says over the noise and we slowly make our way towards them.
"Hey!" Rose cries turning around.
"Why did you step on my shoe!" She cries. I turn around and see none other than Phoebe.
"Because in case you haven't noticed, it's very crowed," she says narrowing her eyes at Rose.
"Rose lets go," I say tugging on her arm a little, "Fine," she says turning around quickly, in the process falling into one of the people we were going to see.
"Scorpius!" Rose and Phoebe say. Rose saying it gratefully and Phoebe, well screaming in our ears. "Hey, is everything okay," he says his eyes darting between Rose and Phoebe.
I shake my head no while Rose and Phoebe shake their heads yes. Rose a slight nod and Phoebe viciously.
Scorpius looks at me then nods and leads Rose gently by the arm to the Gryffindor table.
I start to walk after them, but soon find myself hugging the floor. Whelk can't say that I missed it, sorry.
"Alice!" I hear a familiar voice say. Then I feel someone pick me up carefully by the arm.
"Albus?" I say look at him when he helps me up.
"Yeah and sorry about that I was waiting for you, I didn't mean to trip you." He says. I laugh a little, "Come on," I say pulling his arm towards where Rose and Scorpius are sitting until he stops and pulls me towards the Slytherin table.
I look at him curiously but he shows nothing. I wonder what this is about. What if I was a bad friend? Or I did something bad? Or someone said something about me? What does it mean!
As we sit down there are still more students flooding in.
"Why aren't we sitting over with Rose and Scorpius? Did I do something wrong? Are you mad? What did I do!" I say rushed feeling my heart rate speed up.
"No!" Albus laughs. He laughs so hard he's crying.
"Then what! Why are we way over here!" I say getting a little annoyed. Ok I know mood swing on my part but don't  judge me I hate them.
"No, I-I wanted to know if you wanted to go to the Honorary Yule Ball." He says catching his breath. Wait what! Like as friends or friends friends or like couple? Give me a sign!
"Like as a couple," Albus says sheepishly. Wow. That was well wow!
"Yes!" I say hugging Albus tightly.
"Wow death grip much," Albus says relived and hugs back. I'm so happy right now, like I'm really happy.
"Wait did you get the letter?" I ask breaking away from the hug still beaming, "Yea Professor Cho gave it to me after class," he says smiling.
"Wow." I say looking into his eyes. They are like the most beautiful eyes ever. He has green eyes like his dad. But it's not like the plain green it's like really earthy, pierce through your soul green that melts you heart when he looks in your eyes.
"What?" He asks, "You have the most beautiful eyes ever like wow," I say more than a little embarrassed by my sudden confidence.
"No I don't but I know who does," he says looking at me causing me to blush.
After a wonderful meal and great time talking with friends Rose, Scorpius, Albus and I started walking to the stairs.
"Hey do you guys want to come to a Halloween party that Gryffindor is having?" Rose asks as we reach the grand stairway.
"Okay. Why not, what about you Albus?" Scorpius says look at Albus curiously. I look at him hopefully in a way that lets him know I want him to say yes, "Why not," he says finally smiling at me. Success! "Meet us here in a couple hours and dress at least decently." Rose says punching Scorpius's shoulder playfully the we head our separate ways.
"Guess what!" I says bouncing on the couch in the Gryffindor common room.
"What!" Rose replies smiling at my enthusiasm, "Albus asked me to the Yule Ball memorial thingy!" I say not able to remember what it's called.
"You mean the Honorary Yule Ball?" She laughs at my forgetfulness, "Yeah. That," I laugh along with her.
"Hey I am going to ask Scor-" "Really!!Omg omg omg omg! Your gonna take a Slytherin!" I squeal whispering the last part. "What about your dad and mom! What about your uncle!" I say freaking out. I can't help it. I always (occasionally) see what might go wrong whenever something good happens. "Well they'll have to deal with it. Either way I don't know if he'll say yes." Rose sighs sheepishly.
"He 99.99% probably will." I say tossing my hair over my shoulder and standing up. I have to go help set up the party.
"Don't tell anyone or anything for that matter," Rose says standing up after me.
"Don't worry, I won't tell a soul." I say laughing lightly.
"I have to go set up with the others but enjoy yourself. Or go hangout with Scorpius or someone. But I'll see you later okay?" I say brushing off my black dress that I changed into earlier. I glance down at my boots and make sure my wand is safely inside one. It is.
As I quickly gulp down a horrible tasting invisibility potion which should last about 15 minutes I look around the stairway while feeling the tingles of the potion coming into place.
I step out of the painting to hear loud clicks of Professor Mogonagal's shoes. I quickly close the painting behind me as I see her patrol the stairs. I look at her quickly then run to the hallway near the third floor.
