Jenna's pov
Tyler's coming over today!!!!! Ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod what am I gonna wear? What am I gonna say? Are we going anywhere? SHOOT!! I FORGOT TO CALL HIM LAST NIGHT. too late now. What if he says he doesn't like me after all. Oh no. What if it's just as friends. UGH.
He should be here in an hour or so so I'm gonna go get ready. I'll wear...this! My holed jeans and a tan shirt. Heals? I'LL WEAR MY CREAM ONES AND CURL MY HAIR. yaaaas I'm gonna look soooooo good.
oh shoot. He'll be here in ten minutes. I'm all ready with a natural look to my makeup. I'll text him just in case he forgot or something.
J- hey Tyler. you still coming over?
About two minutes later he answered.
T- yeah I'm omw rn. I just had to make a quick stop to pick something up. I'll be there in five!
Yay!!
I checked myself in the mirror to make sure I looked okay before exactly five minutes later, as promised, Tyler arrived. I opened the front door as he approached the front porch.
"Hi, Tyler!"
I pulled him into a hug.
"Hi, Jen!"
He wouldn't let go for the next minute, but I didn't mind. I let him in for a minute and introduced him to my mom before he lead me to his car so we could head out.
"So, where are we going?"
"Surprise."
"Awe, man!......not even a tiny hint?"
"Nope!"
UGH! , he kills me.
(I love that song)
We pulled up behind an abandoned building, kinda creepy if you ask me.
"What're we doing here?"
"Just come on, Jen."
He got out and opened my door, grabbed a basket out of the trunk, grabbed my hand, and pulled me toward the building. We climbed about six flights of stairs, not a good time to wear heals if you'd ask me, and made it to the top of the building.
We climbed up to the tippy-top of the roof, and Tyler opened the basket to pull out a blanket.
"It's beautiful up here." I said, observing the deep purples and pastel pinks of the sky. (Kinda like the cover of You Should Be Here by Kehlani)
We pulled out some snacks, strawberries, peanut butter and jelly crackers, and cantaloupe. It was really cute.
We sat next to each other staring at the sky.
"As soon as I saw this spot I thought of you." Tyler said, I blushed.
"It really is beautiful up here. We should do this more often."
He starred me in the eyes gently, looking down at my lips then back up again.
And suddenly he leaned in, softly pressing his warm lips to mine, making me blush. I kissed back and we stayed there for a moment.
He and I pulled back, blushing and looking down at our laps.
"Thanks, Jenna," he whispered quietly.
I just leaned over and kissed his cheek, answering him.
"You missed," he said kissing me again.

Tyler just dropped me off. It's now 12:30, I don't usually have a curfew.
I couldn't stop thinking about tonight. It was beautiful.
Tyler's pov
I couldn't stop thinking about tonight.
It was beautiful, almost as much as Jenna herself.
I got out a notebook and wrote on a fresh page.
Dear Jenna,
Tonight was beautiful, almost as much as you. I wish you could've never left. I miss you already and I hope we can do this again.
