Chapter 3

Ashley's POV

Great. We have to travel all the way to California.
Great. I have to actually talk to them.
Or.. I can tune them out with my headphones.
Yeah.. I like that idea better.

"Ok Ashley, is this all of your stuff?"

"Yeah, but you don't have to carry it Taylor, I will."

"I'm your brother, of course I have to carry it."

Everyone was very silent until about a half hour into the ride when Taylor pulled the chord on my headphones.

"Hey!! Taylor what was that for?!"

"How about you talk to us."

Looks like I actually have to talk to them.

"Ugh, fine... So, what do you want to talk about?"

"I dont know... Nash what do you want to talk about?"

"Umm, how about Magcon? You probably dont know that much about it, Ashley."

"Uh yeah about that... What is Magcon?"

"Wait, you've never heard of Magcon?!"

I shook my head.

"Never in your whole life?!"

"Yes Nash, I have never heard of Magcon. And I know, I'm clueless."

"Yup that's my sister for you, shes never heard of Magcon and is completely clueless."

"Hey!" I quickly hit my brother.

After a few hours of talking, I discovered that Nash was a pretty cool guy. He had so much to talk about, I had only listened to some of it because I got lost in gorgeous blue eyes.
I found out that hes from North Carolina, is the same age as my brother(19), has an older and younger brother, and a younger sister.

"Wow, you have a big family Nash. At my house it was just me, my mom and Taylor before he left."

Nash look concerned and asked, "Isn't your dad home a lot?"

I cringed at the mention of him. Im guessing that Taylor didnt tell him a lot about our family.

Taylor saw how pale my face got and quickly changed the subject.

"So Nash how about you tell Ashley how we met."

He scratched the back of his neck realizing he did something wrong already.

After that we just talked about random things and time flew by pretty quickly. A few times Nash and I made eye contact and I think he smirked at me a few times... But I was probably hallucinating.

How could such a hot and apparently famous guy like such a nobody like me?

Sorry that i havent updated in a while... I got caught up with school work and didnt have time to update. I keep promising more romance but ive been lying but i hope that there  will be some in the next chapter. Luv ya!
