September 4th 20xx
2nd Grade
A new kid in school,
As quiet as snow,
I haven't said "hi" yet,
But he seems nice, though.
The other kids ignore him,
People just shy away,
From those who don't speak,
Maybe they're afraid?
So I'll go on over,
And introduce him to me,
Maybe we can be friends,
We'll surely both be happy.
