Waking up with you is another way to say I love you. It's a calming
reassurance to know that you are here and that I can feel you next
to me. It’s the ultimate way to start my day and I can't think of any
other way that I'd rather wake up. This morning is for you as much
as it is about us. I want you to feel how I feel, smell what I smell,
taste what I taste and hear what I hear. And when I touch you, our
love will be magnified a thousand times more than when I first
placed my hands upon you.
I will love you every minute we are together. Before slivers of bright
light crest over the distant hillside, I will make time to cherish you
and help to remind you why my love grows stronger the more time
we share with one another. I want you to imagine my words fall from
my mouth onto your lips.
In your heart the words will remain still until I can touch you with my
breath and with my mind. Imagine feeling the warm caress of the
morning sun on your face. As I lie next to you, I can feel the warmth
from your body as it radiates and envelops me.
We are one body, one mind, in one loving embrace. Our hands encircle
places where we can show our love for one another. I place my
hand at the top edge of the covers and peel back the layers
of warmth until I'm closest to you. I gaze upon your body nestled
before me. You're as beautiful as an angel, yet it is me who is watching
over you.
I like watching you sleep. Soft breaths emerge from your mouth and
whisper dreams only I could wish to know. Even while you're sleeping,

When you awaken, I want my eyes to be the first light you see.
I want you to whisper my name before you say "Good Morning."

what time it is. I want to consume you and nourish you. I want to
breathe in your beauty and hold you in my arms while the sun
climbs higher in the sky. As long as we are here together,
there will be no other care in the world. I look into your eyes and
feel the heat scorching my heart. I feel the tenderness of your lips
and the touch of your tongue on my mouth.
I want to make this morning last as long as we can. We are
two bodies and two hearts melted into one. As I gaze back
toward you, I realize that I have the most beautiful woman
in the world sharing all of this with me. The spontaneity
of our lives makes me want to make love to you every morning.
If I had a choice, I would never leave your side. I want you
to feel safe, content and secure. While I hold you in my
arms I can only hope that you feel the same as I do.
I want to keep going, keep you here forever, but there is
so much more to do today. There is so much more to
learn, to explore and to share with each other. As I look
back at you, wanting you more than ever, I pause,
smile and say, “Good Morning, Baby!”
