Kellin's POV:

She just snapped and ran.I didn't know what to do.I could run after her but I knew that was useless.I was in no way fast and she had her penny board so she was long gone by now.

I decided I should probably go upstairs and get some rest, knowing she would come back sooner or later.I slowly but surely made my way up the stairs, almost falling a couple times.Once I finally got up I did something I wasn't planning to do.I turned into Kira's room.I know,I know not that dramatic but at the same time it was.Instead of walking to the bed and sleeping like I was originally planing to do,I just walked around the room examining every object.I only recognized half of the things, seeing as I was the one that bought them,so I guessed that someone bought her more stuff as I wasn't here to do it.I didn't see anything that wasn't normal until I looked over to the bed.At the corner I saw something red slightly sticking out.I slowly walking over to it,scared of what it could be.I approached the bed and bent down to reach the mystery object.I got it out from the bed and closely looked at it.It was just a book.

I opened it and saw it wasn't a book,it was a diary. One part at me was screaming "OPEN IT" and the other saying "Respect her privacy".I decided to not snoop even though I desperately wanted to know what was going on in that head of hers. She was already furious at me and didn't need to give her another reason to hate me.I knew one day I probably would have to look in but today was not that day.I carefully slid the red mystery back into it's original spot.

I sighed and thought it was time to look in the bathroom. All I saw was a blood stain and that was enough to get me out of there.I wanted to find whatever she was using to hurt her soft skin and bid it a goodbye.I slowly got up and took shaky steps towards the bathroom.Once I got to the open door I took a step inside.I saw the blood stain and wanting to leave and never come back but I know that whatever she was using was in here and I wanted it gone.I forced my eyes of it and started looking around.First up was the shower.I opened the curtain and started my investigation.I took a step towards the rack where all the products were and tore it up.I moved the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and wash cloths but found nothing.Next was the towel closet.I opened the door and threw out the towels.I snatched the basket where she kept extra products and dumped it out.Nothing was found.Last place was under the sink.I ran over and hastily pulled open the cabinet, knowing this was the last possible place it could be.I threw the face wash and other things out of there until there was only one thing left.An old looking box in a corner.I instantly recognized it.

:Flashback:
I just got finished signing the never ending papers needed to adopt Kira.I handed over the papers to the lady behind the desk and she handed the papers I needed back.I smiled at her and put the papers in the pocket of my grey and black jacket.I started my way up to the girls hall at the top of the stairs.Room 5,room 5,there it is.I knocked slightly and waited there until I heard Kira quietly say,"You can come in."I slowly opened the door and smiled brightly at Kira before asking,"Are you ready to go?"She smiled shyly back and replied by saying,"Almost just one more thing."I nodded and leaned up against the wall, patiently waiting for her to be finished. She quickly scurried over to a shelf and stood on her tip toes to grab something.
She pulled down an old looking chest with some chipped wood here and there with a very poorly done paint job.I offered to carry it for her, scared she was gonna get splinters, but she strongly refused.I put my hands up like I was surrendering and she apologized."It's just,I don't feel comfortable sharing what's inside it.",she mumbled.I nodded my head, understanding I should respect her privacy. She burrowed the weird box deep into her bag, zipped up,and followed me out of the room.

:End of flashback:

I always wondered what was in there but I never asked. Now I know and I definitely didn't like it.Not bothering to look at what was inside I grabbed it and ran down stairs.I slid open the back door and ran over to the place where we used to have camp fires all the time and grabbed a lighter.I readied the fire and once it was big enough I threw the box of hell into it.I stood and watched the box burn when tears escaped my eyes once again.I was an emotional wreck and I knew it.But I honestly don't care.

Once I was sure the chest was burnt to a crisp and gone,I got the hose and got rid of the fire.I started walking to the door but when I looked behind me I realized I wasn't satisfied just yet.I didn't feel like the horrid box was out of sight.I turned back to the door and slid it open.I wanted to do something but I decided it would be better to do it with Kira.I figured it would help both of us a lot.I made my way up the stairs and once more headed into Kira's room.Ignoring the mess in the bathroom,I walked towards the bed and took my shoes off.I got into the bed and slowly my eyes closed and sleep took over me.
