You weren’t able to say the name, it was just unbelievable that he was here and he wasn’t captured.”Shikamaru?” you asked even though you knew that voice. It has been so long since you heard his voice but just hearing it, your brain confirmed your suspicions.

The knife fell to the ground and you were sure that he too knew who you were. You turned around and sure enough, his shocked face told you everything. “I-[Name]?” he asked as if he was seeing a ghost.

The feeling you had could simply not be described. “What happened? How did y-” before you said anything else, he had you in a hug.

“You troublesome woman, what happened to you?” he asked the same question.

Before you answered the question, you remembered those outside and you cursed.”Can we talk about this later, there’s a group outside. Do you mind if they rest here for tonight?” you asked pulling away.

He nodded without hesitation. As soon as he nodded, you ran outside and you could see the head of Elena staring at your direction. Glancing from right to left, you made sure there was no danger once that was done, you waved your hand.

Elena noticed your waving hand, and she turned around to tell the others. They soon began to move forward as fast as they could. One by one entered the building and there were a few whispering when they spotted Shikamaru, who leaned against a table.

After you made sure the door was shut, you turned around with confused looks and a glare from Vanitas. You introduced them all and they were-most of them- glad that there was another survival but Vanitas wasn’t very happy.

Shikamaru just ignored him and yawn. “Might as well and rest, seems you’re tired.” He commented and he gestured for you to get closer to him.”I need to talk you, but alone and it’ll be better if you we stay here, there’s a reason.” With that, you nodded and told the group to go and find a good place to rest.

In a few moments there was nothing but silence so Shikamaru took this time to talk but not before he sighed.”What happened to you?” he asked and he wanted to know now.

“I fought and I just....” you felt ashamed that you simply weren’t able to protect your friends. “You saw it yourself, there were too many of them. I was saved because I jumped to the ocean when there was an explosion. I didn’t see you on the ship; I thought they had gotten a hold of you...” by now you looked away.” When everything was over, I ended up on the shore but I was alone. From then on I kept looking and looking, and I am sure that I’ll find them all if it’s the last thing I do.”Now that you explained yourself, you were curious as of how he managed to escape.” And you?”

“It was very troublesome to fight all of them, and the same thing happened to us.”

Plural, he mentioned others so...”Us? Who else?” You wanted to know who else was here. So if this happened to them, maybe at least more of them are out there.

Shikamaru smiled.” Sephiroth, Sasuke,Gaara, Itachi,Zack, and Noctis. When I woke up, I walked along the shore just to make sure there were others, and we found each-other.”

With eyes as big as they could get, you laughed.”Where are they?” If they were here, you wanted to see them pronto. Just before you were about to ask more questions, on the top floors of the building you heard some discussion so  jogging you took the stairs and walked towards the sounds only to find an embraced Tseng by a grinning Zack.

“Zack...” you whispered but it didn’t stop there, Itachi,Noctis, and Gaara stood a few feet away just watching the scene.

It was obvious that they hadn’t heard you but the girl you saved earlier on did notice you. She was seating close to her mother when she turned around and saw you. In a moment, she ran to you and grabbed your hand.”[Name]! Come and sit with us!” she practically yelled getting the attention of every single individual in the group.
