Prologue

Kathy laid her head on her office table, tiredness finally took a toll of her due to her long working hours causing her to drift off into a short dream....

"Mom are you sure you really want to go to work this late in the night?" Kathy asked sounding concerned.
"Yes, baby. We really need this money and cleaning this man's house wont take long." Her mom replied
"You dont even know this guy" kathy whined..
"How long have i been doing this kathy?...i think i know what am doing or what am getting myself into." Her mom responded getting a little annoyed with kathy whining.
"Ok....maybe your right" kathy said..
"Thats my girl." Her mom replied and placed a small kiss on her cheek.

Kathy loves her mother very much because she is the only thing she has left because her father died when kathy was jus two weeks old. kathy mom (Regina) had to do any job she could get to make a living.

Kathy mom left the house at 10:00pm and said she will be back in by 6:00am because she likes working in the night.. kathy locked up the house and headed straight to bed..

Kathy would nornally wake up to the sweet aroma of her mother freshly baked apple cake, but today she woke up to the sound of deafening silence.

She got up went to her mother's room but she was not there she checked everywhere in the house but it seems she hasn't come home yet she tried calling her phone and leaving text message but she wasnt getting any reply...after about 3 hours she decided to call the police and report her mother missing but only thing she got was that she had to wait 24hours..

All this time she was pacing back and forth and pulling on her hair. Night came to nigh but she couldnt sleep at all she was so worried about her mother. She cried and cried thinking about every possible thing that could go wrong until her eyes got weary and she fell asleep..

Riiing!!!
Kathy woke up to her phone ringing, wiping her puffy eye due to the fact that she was crying she answered the phone without looking at the caller ID.

"Hello" kathy answered
"Hello, this is Detective Scott from the NYC FBI Agency, we have just found a woman by the location you described..........."
After a long pause he finally spoke
"We need you to come in and identify the body."
And thats reality stroke she was wondering why she needed to identify her mothers body.
Arriving at the station the police took her at an autopsy room and when she saw the woman it was indeed her mom.
"What happened?" She directed her question to the doctor with tears visible in her eyes.
"Maam she has been raped and murdered" the doctor said hesitantly
Kathy couldn't breathe her breath got caught in her throat as tears streamed down her face.

End Of FlashBack

Kathy woke up breathing uneasy, that memory hasn't crossed her mind in years....
