BEEP BEEP BEEP!
i look up from my pillow to see my alarm clock that reads 10:00 AM going off loudly, letting me to wake up for my plans I have. Without it, i would probably sleep in and miss out. I turn it off and groggley sit up and stare outside. I am not a morning person. At least the weather outside looks pretty nice. The summer time is a good time to go to the beach, meet some hot boys, go clubbing and maybe a mate or specifically me finding my mate this summer. A mate is the person you are destined to be with and your other half of your soul that when you meet the sparks fly and you live happily ever after. Werewolves get mates so that means that yes, I am a werewolf and the Alphas daughter of the Trident pack.
I have two best friends the bubbly Emma and fiery Brooke. Emma has dirty blonde hair with a slender 5'7 frame. Brooke is fun to be around and hilarious with fiery red hair that is really wavy, and a lean 5'7 build as well. I like to think of her as a fire goddess with her hair and all. Let me introduce myself now, my name is Alexis Scott but my friends call me lexi. i get up from my bed, groaning loud like a old lady when my body leaves the warmth of my gorgeous bed. I slowly start walking to my closet when i suddenly feel hands grab me and my body lifted onto someone's shoulder . I let out an oof and start smacking the persons head. I can tell it's my annoying brother by the dirty blonde on his head and his dark green eyes that are sparkling with mischief.
"CHRIS WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" I yell at him, wiggling around to get away knowing he is up to no good.
He just grins at me and being a loving brother he is, he lays me down in the tub and turns the shower on to cold water.
" YOU ASSHOLE"! I yell as my voice shakes from the cold water.
He stands by the door laughing at me, as I'm slipping around, quickly trying to get up to turn the water off. When i do turn it off, i'm already drenched in ice cold water.
" Good morning lexi" he says walking away laughing to himself
I shake my head, i love him and all but he is so annoying. While muttering curses to myself, i peel my wet pajamas away and turn the water on again, but to the right temperature this time. I proceed to shave and scrub my body while jamming out to the radio. I turn the shower off 40 minutes later and grab a fluffy towel, wrapping it snugly around my body. When i step out of the tub, i look at my reflection in the full body mirror. My hair is black and has the natural waves that I got from my dad. I got my blue eyes from mom. Chris got our dads dark greens eyes and our moms blonde hair. My hair reaches halfway down my back. i have a slim waist, with awesome womanly curves, my skin is kinda on the pale side and I'm about 5'4 which means I'm the shortest of my friend trio.
When i open the bathroom door, the cool air nips at me while i walk fast to my closet and quickly slip on a matching pantie and bra. i decided on blue jean shorts and a white button up shirt that ties at the bottom so my belly ring is on full display. I slip on some light brown sandals. I walk into the bathroom to brush my hair and apply cherry lip balm and light eyeliner. Right then as i finished, I hear a car honking like crazy and i know its my girls. I grab my purse that has my phone and money and run down the stairs, into the kitchen to grab a apple for my breakfast.
I see my parents in the living room talking to each.
" I'm going to the salon with the girls, I'll be back later." I say blowing them a kiss and I head to the door.
"Alexis wait! " they yell as I'm about to walk out. I turn around and go into the living room a little bit.
" yes?" I say calm. My dad looks at me with serious eyes.
" The alpha of the Black Stone pack along with his beta are coming over for dinner to discuss attacks of vampires that are passing through our territories so please come home right after your girls day out" he says unsure if he called it right. My mom chuckles.
"But I had plans tonight, do i really need to come?" I say in a voice that I hope isn't to whiny sounding.
" I would really like if you attended tonight lexi" he says making a sad face. I feel my heart crumble a little when i see that face and i sigh.
"ok dad" i say leaning down kissing his cheek and moms.
" HEY, I don't get a bye?" Chris yells from the kitchen.
" BYE" i say in what i hope is a sweet voice. i need to play nice until i can get him back. I jog out and jump into Emma's jeep and their all singing to One Directions "What Makes You Beautiful" in silly voices.
"HEY girls" i yell at them since their singing loudly.
"WHAT?" they all yell back.
" I said HEY girls!"I say to them after I turn the radio down.
" Hi " they all shout at me
"So you excited to go clubbing tonight at the new club?" Emma asks me.
" About that' i say slowly
"What?" they say in disappointed voices.
" Well, my parents asked me to attend a dinner tonight with the Alpha of the Black Stone pack." after i say that, Emmas eyes get big and she grins.
" i hear he's one of the youngest Alphas at 23 which means he is only 2 years older than you" she says wiggling her eyebrows. i slap her arm and laugh.
"As if" I say scoffing.
" I hear he's super hot too," Brooke says sighing dreamily.
" Hello? Earth to Brooke"? You done day dreaming?" i say as i wave my hand in front of her, she snaps out of it and glares playfully while we laugh at her. She sticks her tongue out at us and we laugh more.
"WE'RE HERE!" Emma yells parking the jeep in a parking space. We get out and lock our arms together as we walk into the salon place.
"Come on girls, let's make our toes and fingernails sexy " I say while laughing.
