zander pov//
I heard two girls laughing behind me. I didn't want to turn around because I feel like they would see me looking at them. So I casually just listened to there conversation. That isn't weird...right? Anyway, my friend Shayna was talking to me about something. I didn't want to seem like i was ignoring her so I just kept nodding, but I was really listening to the girls behind me.
"Just walk past him." the girl named Haley said to her friend.
"No! I can't! He'll think I'm weird!" her friend Ashley retorted.
"Fucking hell! Just do it." Haley said.
Who are they talking about? I thought.
"Zander!!"
Shayna shouted, snapping her fingers in front of my face.
"Were you even listening?"
Uh... yeah...! I said, obviously nervous.
She kept talking. I decided to just ignore Haley and Ashley behind me, even though they were really loud. I think Ashley is in my study hall, and gym too! I've never really noticed her until now.
Ashley pov//
Me and Haley were walking around the lunchroom now, trying to get a good look Zander. We went to where Sanjana sits and tried to look at him, but his backpack was blocking his face.
"Fuck." I said.
Then Haley grabbed my arm.
"Sal is coming lets go." she said worriedly.
I went up to him and poked him in the shoulder.
Then the bell rang. I had english now.
Ashley pov//
"Thanks Bos!!!!" Allison yelled.
I walked to study hall.
I caught a glimpse of Zander and his friends at the corner table where they usually sit. I sat in my usual spot alone.
I hid behind my backpack and tried not to stare.
"Ugh why is he so cute.." I thought to myself. I tried to forget about him by finishing some math homework, but I just ended up thinking about him again. I texted Haley his every move.
Zander pov//
I looked up from my game to see Ashley sitting by herself. I wanted to go say something to her, but she probably dosen't even know me, and I didn't want to seem creepy. She looked sad. I wanted to ask her why. Then I remembered the conversation she and her friend were having during lunch.
"No, he'll think I'm weird!" I remember Ashley saying. I wonder who they were talking about. Then I looked up again and Ashley was looking at me. As soon as we made eye contact, she immediately looked back down at her phone.
"I guess she's shy." I thought. I smiled a bit.
