Chapter 1 The "New" Player

*Mady Kate's POV*(5 years later)

Wow! It's been a while since we've last talked. Ever since I moved, I haven't talked to Hayes. I'm now in college and I've made some changes. I dyed my hair so now it's ombred, I wear black nerd glasses and I got my belly-button and cartlage peirced. I decided that since I got a new look, that I wouldn't go by MK anymore, now I go by Mady Kate. Like I said before, I'm now in college. I'm the starting quarterback for LA Tech and cheer capitan. Riley's here with me and somehow, so is Mitchell

*Riley's POV* (5 YEARS LATER)

I'm FINALLY in college! I have been waiting so long to get here! I am so close to being done with school! That is, if I pass science... but I should be okay... maybe. Past that, I've changed a whole lot. My hair is now waist length, but still a dark chocolatey brown, and it curls naturally. I got my belly button peirced with a small diamond. I'm still a cheerleader, it's my life. and I have a lovely boyfriend, named Mitchell! You may remember him from the middle school football team. He's gotten a lot hotter. I'm still best friends with MK- I mean Mady Kate . I haven't talked to Hayes in a while. I still talk to the other guys though. My brother Cameron moved in with all the guys in a house down the street, and Cam and I hang out almost everyday, he's really became like a best friend to me!

*Mady Kate's POV*

Coach blew his whistle signaling us to take a break from drills. I walk over to the sideliness ahead of the group to see what he needs. "What's up Coach?" I ask grabbing a bottle ofg wooter. "Hey QB! We have a new guy on the team! He just transferred from Florida. Ben!" He calls out. A boy comes running out in his practice uniform. He's taller than I am but I know for a fact not as fast. "Team, this is Ben". The boy takes off his helmet and I nearly faint. He has short brown hair with a perfect jawline and peircing blue eyes almost exactly like Nash. "Welcome to the team,Ben!" I said taking off my helmet and putting my hand out, " I'm Mady Kate. Team capitan and QB! What position do you play?". "I play wide receiver" he said shaking my hand. The touch felt so familiar as if I know him from another time...

*Riley's POV*

Mitchell and I were talking about how potatoes and tamatoes are different, even though they sound the same. Nope, we haven't changed a bit. "Babe, a tamato is red, and a patato is... patato colored?" I said, we both died out laughing. "Stop laughing, I mean what was I supposed- " I was knocked to the floor by a large person, considering evrybody is bigger me, like a lot bigger."OH I'M SO SORRY ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" the person questioned helping me up."oh you're fine." HE JUSTFRICKEN RAN IN TO ME! WAIT TILL I GET CLOSER TO HIM I WILL BEAT HIS A- "Hayes? Bro, I haven't talked to you in forever!" Mitchell said. I blew my hair out of my face. "Babe what the hell, Hayes is back in North Carolina?" I said, is he going crazy? "Hun, this is Hayes, he just goes by Ben now, and looks a lot different." Mitchell explained to me. "Hayes? Seriously?" I asked the boy in front of me. "Yeah, that would be me! But call me Ben." he said, smiling. "OMG HAYES I MISSED YOU!" I screamed hugging him. He and mitchell laughed. "Alright babe I know he may be hot but you're mine remember?" Mitchell laughed. "Oh yeah sorry Ben, I got emotional for a second." "If you don't mind me asking, who are you?" Ben asked me. "Ben, it's Riley?" I said. "Oh my Riley, you've changed a lot!" he said. "Just wait until you see Mady Kate!" I said smiling. "Oh I've already met her, she seems really nice!" he said. I gave Mitchell a funny look,"Ben, you do know who she is right?" I asked him "Yeah QB of the football team, duh." he replied."Do you know her last name Ben?" Mitchell aksed "No, why?" He asked. "Ben, Mady Kate smith, MK Smith." I said in a duh tone. "Oh my, you both have changed an awful lot since I last saw you." he said. I smiled latching my hand with Mitchell's. "And I see you two are a thing now?" he smirked. "Yeah." Mitchell smiled. "just out of curiosity, what hall are you on?" I asked him "hall Q." "OH! Me and Mady Kate are on that hall!" I smiled. "I'm not sharing with anybody though, so feel free to come over if you guys get bored, beause I know you will." we all laughed. "do you and the guys not talk anymore?" I asked him "well me and Nash do, not so much the others. "They all moved into a house down the street, they come over to our dorm like every day." I said. My phone began to ring

C= Me and the guys are headed over, so get in your dorm and quit hanging with Mitchell! he laughed

R= Very funny, I'll make my way back, and I have someone I want you to meetexcited

C= Alright bye!

"the guys are coming over! let's go back to the dorm, Mady Kate should be back!" I said. We walked to the dorm, when we enterd Mady Kate was already there joking with the guys. "BABY DALLAS!" they screamed giving me a hug. "Hey guys!" I said. "Hey bubby!" I said giving him a hug. "Guys me an Mitchell have someone we want you to meet.." Ben came inside,and every one but Nash and Mady Kate were confused. "Guys, this is Benjamin Hayes Grier." Mady Kates face fell, but all the boys seemed pretty physced about it. "Hey MK." Ben said "Hayes." Mady Kate said.
