Chapter 10

I was so happy to have Dave back i really was lucky.
"Hey babe," he said walking into the kitchen.
"Hey," I said. The phone started ringing.
"I will get it," Dave said. I started making breakfast and thinking who Dave was on the phone to.
"That was just Kurt on the phone he invited us over to his and Courtney's for dinner," Dave said.
"You wanna go?," I asked.
"Yea sure," he replied. I went out to go buy a bottle of wine to take to dinner tonight. Dave and I stayed home all day doing nothing really.
"I am going to have a shower," I said.
"Mind if I join you?" Dave asked.
"It will save water," I said laughing. Dave washed my hair for me and I washed his.
"This was a good idea," Dave said rubbing the shampoo into my hair.
"Yea i know," I said and closed my eyes.  Once we got out of the shower i warped a towel around me and went to go get dressed. I put on a denim skirt, a t shirt with daisies on it and my combat boots.
"You ready to go," Dave called out.
"Yes," I said. Dave had on some black converse, a green t shirt and jeans. I grabbed the bottle of wine then we got in the car and left.
"I hope they aren't high or anything," I said.
"Yea i know," said Dave. We got to their apartment knocked on the door and Kurt opened the door.
"Why are you here?" He asked.
"Ummm you invited us for dinner," I said looking at my brother.
"Oh right! Sorry but it isn't a good time," Kurt said. I notified that he didn't have the door open very much.
"What are you hiding there," I said trying to look past him.
"Have you ever heard of minding your own business," he said. I pushed past Kurt and went into the apartment.
"What the fuck Mel! Stop invading my apartment," he yelled. I heard someone vomiting it must be Courtney.
"Why is Courtney vomiting?" I asked.
"Why are you even in here," he said.
"Is she drunk," I asked.
"No she's pregnant," Kurt hissed. My eyes felt like they were going to pop out of my head and Kurt looked like he shouldn't have said that.
"If you tell anyone but Dave i won't speak to you," Kurt said in a low voice.
"Ok I get it. Wanna meet for coffee tomorrow to discuss it," I asked.
" I will call you in the morning," Kurt said while walking me back to the door. I noticed Dave wasn't there so I went down to where the car was parked sure enough he was there.
"Courtney's pregnant," I said.
"Seriously?!" Dave asked.
"Yes," I said.
