Justin's POV
I have been wanting to find the love of my life. Never have I found a girl with such an outgoing personality, except when I met the girl of my dreams. Jessica Diane. She has a heart of gold.
Jessica's POV
"Hey Justin! What's up?" I said in a girly voice. I had a maaaassive crush on him, but I never told anyone but Angela, my BFF. "Doing great. There's this girl I've met today while on my way to school. Her name was Lia. I think she's meant to be my future girlfriend or something!" he chuckled in the sexiest voice you could imagine. Wait, what?! LIA?! FUTURE GIRLFRIEND?! It had torn me apart to hear those words being spoken.
Justin's POV
I didn't really want to release those muttered words out of my mouth allowing the beautiful Jessica to hear. It truly did not happen. I was just trying to "lower her expectations" of me liking her, though I really want to. I just don't know how she will react when I explain my everlasting love for her. I quickly corrected, "But she wasn't as flawless as you are! She's a hairy, hairy, monstah!"
Jessica's POV
I giggled at Justin's little joke. but it still hurt me to hear what he had said. I know he didn't mean that she was hairy, literally, just trying to "not" hurt my feelings and to be a burden to me. I just panicked, not knowing what to say after that. I said like an idiot, "Hang in there, I have a text from..." I glanced at a huge wooden door. "Doris..." and then I looked at a newly-painted white pillar that the school paid $1ooo for it to be painted. "White Banister!"
"Whoa. Okay then. Maybe I'll talk to ya later?" he told me sheepishly. I felt like a total idiot! How could I even let my opportunity slip like that? Just then, he said...
"Hey Jess. I was wondering if you could..."
