Chapter 1

On 10/30/15 my best friend got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I was walking on the track when......BUUUZZZZZZ.
I got a text.

It was from Olivia
"I have diabetes"

I couldnt believe my eyes my fake reality had come true
"Are u serious dont joke with me" I said, as a reflex. It couldnt be she was too young to innocent! What had she done to deserve such a horrible thing that she would have to live with for the rest of her life. The next day i embrace her in a hug not believing what i had heard. "Is it true?" I ask.

"Yes its type 1"she replied.

"Well is there a way i can help". I obviously knew there was nothing for me too do ;for the first time i felt totally useless.That night i went home sobbing. My mom wraped me in a loving hug asking

"What happened?"

"Olivia has diabetes."i managed to say.

"Oh hunny im so sorry."she replied devastated.
