Chapter 2.

"So Mal how is your mum ?" Audrey knows how sensitive I am about this . If I'm honest I don't know how my mum is I leave FairyGodmother to her own devices , my mother hurt me and tried to destroy Ben's life I don't know how I could forgive her .
My life is so much better without her .
"Uh she's good Fairy Godmothers dealing with her I just visit every now and then .." I mumble back.

"Oh that's good I hope she's well"

"Thanks"

"Mal should we go for a swim ?" Ben asks breaking the dreary silence after mine and Audrey's conversation.

"Yeah, let's go " I scream excitedly hiding my fear of the water.

"Woooohoooooo!!" Everyone screams as the jump in. I watch in awe Ben swims over immediately as I sit nervously on the edge.

"Ready?"

"As I'll ever be" I end his sentence and he laughs before I can say anything else he grabs my hand and pulls me in.

I gasp at the temperature of the water it   Wasn't cold but the depth shocked me . The crystal water just touched my waist , I giggled at how Ben reacted when I began to venture deeper into the lake he trailed behind me checking if I was ok .
Everyone had reached a spot in the lake and of course Ben and Audrey were talking , about diving or something the anger in me sparked to life.
"I wonder how high that is I'd love to dive from that ledge"Audrey exclaims in her sweet tone.

"Why don't we dive as a group ? Bens done it a million times and he's the best teacher"I say with wicked thoughts filling my mind I'll get Ben to hold me as we jump I hate using him but I love him for helping me concker my fears.

"Mal are you sure Princess?" I smile at the thought of me being his princess , soon to be Queen hopefully.

"Certain! You guys wanna?"

"Yeah let's go!" The group yell and climb out of the lake and we make our way to a ledge / diving board that we all feel comfortable jumping off.

"On 1 " Ben says reassuringly taking tight hold of my hand .

"3....2...."

"1!!!" He yells at the top of his lungs and I'm left giggling whilst jumping into the lake but I look down and Ben is already there he let go !!

"Ben!" I scream as I go to hit the water but I open my eyes and He's holding me as if he had planned it . Wait ... He planned it !
I playfully hit his chest and snuggle my head into the crook of his neck which makes him hug me closer and tighter.

Ben's POV

"I love you Princess " I whisper in her ear as I carry her back to the lunch area .Shes still snuggled into my neck holding on for life. I look at her meaningfully knowing she's mine and will always be hopefully . I need her more than anything and can't live without her . She's mine . My Queen. My Mal.

We dry off and change into dry clothes before finishing our lunch .

"Ben how did you learn to dive like that ?" Audrey says with a girly tone.

"Uh my dad we used to come here when I was little ." I say trying to avoid a long conversation I instantly turn my attention back to Mal who is eating a strawberry , her and strawberries!  The memory of our first date comes to mind and I can't help but giggle to myself .

"What?" Mal exclaims playfully looking at me with her big green eyes open wide.

"Nothing just I can't believe the fact that you have eaten so many strawberries " I chuckle.

"Should we head back its getting late and I have homework Ben"

"Of course Princess"

We quickly dismiss ourselves and bid farewell to our friends I need to find the gift I have got Mal while she's doing her homework.

And then I'll give it to her then she will for sure be mine.
