Chapter One

'For gods sake Amy! Wake up! You are going to be late and you know what your auntie is like, everyone has to be prompt!' Your mom shouts up the stairs. You groan and cover your ears with your pillow. So yeah, you are going to go and visit your auntie today who you haven't seen in ages as she moved away. You have a cousin, Matthew, who you haven't seen in ages too.

You drag yourself out of bed then slip on your fluffy socks. You trudge your way to the top of the stairs then make your way down. Making your way into the kitchen you see your dad sitting down at the table reading his daily newspaper. 'Morning dad,' you mumbled.

'Good morning sweetie.'

'Amy get your breakfast down you, we are leaving in an hour.' You just glare at your mom in a tired way as she speaks to you, nodding. You sit down to eat your breakfast, peanut butter on toast, and sip your orange juice. As you are eating you try and think of an outfit you can wear to your aunts. You get your phone out and send a text to Matthew - 'Why so early? :(' Almost instantly after you pressed send he replied with - 'I have no idea, think my mom wants to go out and do something. I might take some of my friends?'

'Oh my god for real... :/ And yahh, okay. Might be a bit awkward for me though.'

'Neh, Amy don't worry about it. They are nice guys.Just need to get to know them.'

'Amy for goodness sake put your phone away and get ready!'

'Okay! God.'

You make your way upstairs and pull out the outfit you were thinking about earlier. Denim skinny jeans with a few rips, brown ankle boots and a white half sleeve t-shirt. You do your make-up natural like usual, just a little bit of tinted moisturiser, tinted lip balm and a coat of mascara. And you put your long wavy dark hair into a pony tail.

'You ready Amy?!'

You text Matt - 'On our way.. :). Be prepared for my mom.'

'Could say exactly the same to you.'

'Okay mom I'm ready!'
