A long time ago, in the Kingdom of Ethaerien lived King Charles and his family. He had a Queen named Meadow and three daughters, Scarlet, Aubrey, and Rosella; he was soon to have another child as well. They had all ruled the kingdom together peacefully but that peace wouldn't last for long. Queen Meadow got word that their ally, the Kingdom of Ocelia, were running out of crops and livestock and needed help very soon. So Queen Meadow and Princess Rosella set out on a week trip to head to the Kingdom of Ocelia and help them get their crops and livestock back. After three weeks, King Charles got a letter saying that his Queen never reached the Kingdom of Ocelia. He sent his soldiers out on a quest to find his wife and daughter. After two more weeks of search, they found their missing carriage destroyed near a river. The King was very upset with this; he had banned his own daughters, Scarlet and Aubrey, to never step foot out of his kingdom again. At the time, Scarlet was 11 years old, Aubrey was 8 years old, and Rosella was 6 years old. After 8 years, the kingdom was in peace again, but something was missing and Princess Aubrey knew it.
