Chapter 8

-Where do I begin? I should've tell you how bad I need you now-

When I told Niall I was going to pay my own ticket, he didn't like the idea of me or my parents spending money, I tried to make him understand but he refused to hear me and he paid our tickets anyway. It was so sweet from him, I called my mom before arriving to San Diego and she mentioned that we were everywhere, magazines, newspapers, internet and also TV.

She said she was so excited to meet Niall and even he was excited to meet my parents and my sister. I didn't tell her that everything was a lie, I felt bad I mean, she swallowed all this ''dating'' thing that I couldn't.

Niall spent the half of the time sleeping, he told me that jetlag would punch me on the face but I wasn't sleepy.

I was really excited to see my friends! My sister and my little nephew! How could I forget about him? He's such an adorable creature! I love him. My family will love Niall, I don't see a ''but'' in him, he has everything I need, he IS everything I need. Maybe yesterday I needed to clear up my mind, but today I know that I really like him. He's perfect, the kind of guy that will never hurt a girl, the lovely and charming boy I've been waiting for.

In the last few minutes of flight, the plane was just flying in circles; it was annoying, my bum hurt.

When we went for our suitcases I was expecting my mom, dad and my sister with a cardboard with my name written on it, but no. I didn't see anyone, Niall asked me what was wrong but I didn't answer, I was scanning all the people there. There was a bunch of girls who were getting closer to us but security kept them away.

I can't believe they knew where we were, they're really clever! Or maybe because it is the only airport in San Diego. Duh.

''Alice, look'' Niall pointed and I saw a little kid with a cardboard with ''WELCOME ALICE & NIALL!'' written on it with colorful letters, really pretty. That's why I didn't see our sign, my little nephew was holding it and he's so tiny! He looked so adorable!

I took Niall by the wrist and ran towards the little kid to hold him on my arms. ''oh my god'' I sighed, ''I missed you so much my Tommy'' I kissed his pink cheeks and he smiled. I turned to see Niall and my eyes were watery, he rubbed my back and smiled. ''how old are you Tommy?'' Niall asked the little child, Tom sometimes is shy with new people but this time he wasn't.

''and who are you? I'm not telling you'' Tommy crossed his little arms over his chest, Niall laughed and responded ''Well, I'm Niall Horan and you sir?'' he asked in a really sweet tone, my smile only grew. ''well, I'm not a sir I'm a kid, and I'm Tom Miller but you can call me Tommy and I'm 5 years old'' He replied with a little grin on his face.

''A-Alice'' I heard someone calling my name and I turned around to see who it was ''Amber!'' I put Tommy on the floor and ran to hug her. My sister grabbed my face and kissed my forehead, ''look at you! You look so different! Oh and your eyes are not watery, I think you missed Tommy the most, did you hear mom?!'' Of course I missed them, a lot! But when I saw my little Tommy I just melted. He's my little boy, what can I say?

''Mom! Daddy!'' I ran to hug them and my mom was almost drowning in tears. My dad lifted me up and kissed my forehead. ''my princess! You are finally here'' He hugged me one more time. My mom's Kristen Charles and my dad Brad Miller, they're not the most adorable couple ever, but they're happy together you know? I love them.

''oh, who's this adorable boy?'' My mom asked looking at Niall. I looked at him smiling and he was blushing, he was so nervous. I took him by the wrist and introduced him to my parents, ''He's Niall, my.. Uh-'' Then he interrupted me, ''I'm Niall Horan, nice to meet you all. I'm Alice's boyfriend'' He extended his hand to my mom, dad and then Amber.
