Kageyama's P.O.V

Today was the first day of highschool and I already hate it. I wasn't accepted to any good high schools that had amazing volleyball teams but this was my second and only choice. I walked down the hall and stopped to look at a bright neon green paper that was laminated. On the top of the paper it said 'Rooms Grade 9 and Gym Directions' I looked down the list and found the gym. It was down the right hall. I walked down the hall and bumped into a small..very small person. "Oh I'm so sorry! Wait? Are you a freshman? Are you going yo the gym?" An orange haired boy practically screamed. I stated silent and nodded my head. "Alright! My name is Shoyo Hinata but you can just call me Hinata" he smiled. "Kageyama Tobio, call me Kageyama." I replied. He nodded and continued walking with me until we were at the gym. "Look at the newbies!" A bald man screamed. "Shut up Tanaka! Sorry, my name is Daichi, I'm basically the leader" he smiled. I held my hand out and introduced myself and he shook my hand. "Who's the shorty?" Tanaka smirked. "I'm not short!" Hinata exclaimed. "We'll see about that. Call me Tanaka senpai and I'll stop calling you shorty" he giggled. Hinata looked desperate and repeated "Tanaka Senpai" over and over until Tanaka was told to stop by Daichi. "Well we want to see how good you are today, get on the court guys!" He exclaimed.

~After practice~

"Hey Kageyama! Wanna have lunch together?" Hinata pulled on my sleeve. "Sure" I shrugged. He opened a door and ran inside. I ran in the room and stairs. I looked at the sign on the door and in fine print it said 'Balcony' I raised my eyebrows and ran up the stairs. I opened another door and saw Hinata sitting down opening a little box. He looked so... So cute? I've never thought about anyone like that. Ever since my family said I would have an arranged marriage with one of my mom's friends' daughter (sounds confusing but Yea) I never really paid attention to anyone. I was scared I'd fall in love with someone and ending up heart broken because I would never be able to be with them. I didn't really care about my sexuality, its kinda like whatever gender I like, I like. I didn't know I'd end up being interested in a short orange haired boy. I mean who wouldn't be? He has nice coffee brown eyes, messy yet fixed hair, a small frame, and a beautiful smile. "Oi! Kageyama! Come sit here!" Hinata patted at the ground and waved his arms. I smiled for what seemed like the first time and sat down next to him. "I like your smile" Hinata spoke with a full mouth. "Thank you, I like your smile too" my cheeks felt warm and a warm sensation ran through my body. I looked over to see Hinata with... Pink cheeks?
