Hey people!
If you've ever wondered about life in "Paradise" is like, I'm here to tell you. Beneath our sandy white beaches, tall looming coconut trees, and beautiful ocean waves, lie our sunkissed, bikini clad teenage girls strolling around at the mall, low-budget schools- which we hardly attend, and amazing parties by the beach side with red solo cups filled with booze and a lot of weed for our druggie population, which is a strong 60%. Life here is good- if it's what you're into, but can also be a prison if it's not what you're into, as the closest piece of land would be California, which is 2,400 miles away.SIGHTINGS
V and C at Waikiki Beach, tanning their already beautiful sunkissed skin, checking out hot surfer guys. F smoking a cigarette outside of his car, lurking around Kaila's Cafe as though he was waiting for someone. Our mystery New Girl spotted at the administration office of Kalani High School.THE NEW GIRL
Yes, we have a new girl, and yes, she is absolutely gorgeous, which we expected, since she came from California. Her hair is blonde, long, and perfectly curled, her legs are tall and thin, and for all you interested in girls- her face is definitely girlfriend material. She's wearing a casual floral spring dress with a pale yellow scarf, which looks pretty expensive. We'd better be careful, because if we're not, she'll steal our boyfriends hearts, win over our parents, teachers, and friends, fit into our clothes that we just can't fit anymore, and ultimately ruin our entire lives. I'll be watching closely as always... This is going to be an exciting year, I can already feel it.You know you love me,
Gossip Girl-
"I have the most massive headache ever." Camilla complained to her best friend, Victoria. "I shouldn't have drank so much last night."
Victoria nodded in agreement as she squinted her eyes through her sunglasses, tucking a strand of her dark brown hair behind her ear as a gust of winter air blew against them.
"I'm not sure if ill be able to make it through tonight's party, honestly." Camilla spoke again, her brown ankle high boots trudging behind her.
"I heard that new girl is gonna be there. Typical of Fred to manage to invite her on her first day here." Victoria replied. The truth was that she liked Fred- no- She loved him. And she'd been in love with him since freshman year- which was when he began dating Camilla.
Camilla nodded in response, pulling out a pack of cigarettes from her coat pocket. Things between Fred and her had been rocky since the past couple of weeks, but she wasn't about to let anyone know that... Especially that he hadn't personally invited her to his party.
"I wonder if she's as pretty as Gossip Girl says." Victoria spoke, taking a cigarette from Camilla. She sighed in thought as Camilla lit their cigarettes.
"Has Gossip Girl ever been wrong?" Camilla asked, letting out a breath of smoke.
The sky was a beautiful cotton candy pink and purple as the sun slowly faded from the sky. Both Camilla and Victoria were anxious to see the new girl- and worried that she just might steal their boy.
-
"Bottoms up!" Fred shouted as he downed his shot of vodka. He smiled widely at his friends as they patted each other on the back, laughing drunkly. The party had barely started, yet they were all already drunk.
He made his way to pour himself a cup of beer, his eyes scanning for the new girl. Fred's eyes darted to the door as he saw two heads of brown hair.
"Camilla! Victoria! Over here!" He shouted, making his way over to them. "Hey guys! Glad you could make it! Have you seen the new girl? I haven't seen her yet."
Camilla rolled her eyes as she took Fred's cup, downing it's contents in a big gulp. "You're drunk." She stated, walking off in annoyance.
Victoria's big brown eyes met Fred's green ones as she smiled daintily at him. "Nice party, Fred." She stated with a smile. "As usual, of course."
Fred nodded as he smiled. "It's not fun til you drink a little bit, Tori." He stated, pulling her arm to the drink cooler. "If Camilla's doesn't wanna party doesn't mean you can't!"
-
Camilla stormed off angrily, bumping into a blonde girl standing awkwardly in the middle of the dance floor- a girl she'd never seen before- The new girl? She glanced at her from head to toe, comparing this girl to Gossip Girl's description. Definitely the new girl. First impressions are everything, and Camilla was determined to get herself acquaintanced with the new girl before anyone else.
"Hey! You must be new, I'm Camilla!" Camilla introduced over the music, holding out a hand to shake with a friendly smile plastered on her face.
The girl's features relaxed into a smile, relieved to have found someone to talk to. She shook Camilla's hand gently, her normal somewhat perky self restoring it's order.
"Hey, I'm Brooke! Nice to meet you." She replied, trying to speak above the noise.
"Wanna ditch the party?" Camilla offered, feeling somewhat annoyed by her surroundings.
Brooke nodded eagerly as she watched the partying teenagers around her. "Please".
The two made their way through the crowd of people, finally to the outdoors where the environment was quiet and serene- except for the barely audible bass thumps from the party happening indoors.
Camilla gestured for Brooke to get into her car- which she did, thankful that she had found a way out of that party, but also worried that Camilla might dump her in a ditch somewhere. The only reason she had gone to the party was because Fred had asked her personally, and she didn't want to seem rude or prude by declining.
"So- How do you like it here so far?" Camilla asked, attempting to make small talk as she drove away from Fred's house.
Brooke shrugged her shoulders as she looked out the window. "So far, not that great... I kinda wish I was back home... I really don't fit in here." She answered quietly.
Camilla felt a pang of sympathy for the poor girl. She hadn't even bothered to think about how Brooke felt, and that Brooke might feel like an outcast. She decided that she'd take Brooke under her wing and help her out.
"Well, that won't be for too long. Plus, you have me now, and I know everyone." Camilla said with a smile.
She turned her eyes back to the road ahead, feeling proud of herself for being so kind.
If only she knew what was happening at the party.
