Leena's POV
The afternoon of the party came by quickly. Rome, Emma, Brian, and I had joined the party before everyone else. "Alright guys," I sighed as I put on my earpiece. "Tej?"
"We gotta move in sync if we're going to pull this off," Tej replied. "So, let's go over it to make sure everyone clearly understands their roles. Roman, that means you."
"You know what, you're being real unprofessional right now, Tej," Rome replied.
"The God's Eye chip is hidden in a speed drive installed in the prince's car, which he keeps in a safe room vault," Tej responded.
"Eight to ten plainclothes security," I replied. "Not to mention the prince and his personal bodyguards."
"Security cameras are clustered by the north wall," Brian sighed. "That's where the vault is." Dom joined Brian and I. "We are really doing this."
"We got to get in the vault, we have to tap into the security system, which can be accessed in the prince's bedroom," Tej sighed.
"Alright guys," Emma sighed. "I'm going in with Letty."
"Once we are tapped in, Ramsey and I can hack into the network and put the door so you can get in and get that shit," Tej responded.
"Wait, wait, wait," Rome stopped us. "You missed a step. What about me?"
"You're to create a distraction," I smiled. "Shine bright Roman Pierce."
"Tej, we're in," Emma replied.
"Find the phone jack," Tej replied. "It's gonna be the 350-megahert CAT5e cable." I looked at Brian. "They probably got a couple dozen back there, but this will be the bonded pair with the plenum coat."
"The orange wire, got it," Emma replied.
"Smart girl," I smiled.
"We got company, Emma," Letty replied.
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen, we are in the pilot seat," Tej replied. "Alright Roman."
"Do whatever it is you do," Ramsey sighed.
Rome started creating a distraction. "Let's go," I replied. We found our way to the car and the doors closed behind us. "Whoa."
"Do you realize what this is?" Brian asked. "Lykan Hypersport. $3.4 million. Zero to 60 in less than 3 seconds. There's seven of these in the world and this guy keeps it locked up in a vault."
"Nothing's sadder than locking a beast in a cage," Dom replied.
"And now I really want to punch him in the face," Brian sighed.
"Okay," Dom sighed. "Let's get to work." Dom lifted up the car. "Ugh!"
"You got this, right?" Brian asked as I got under the car.
"Go," Dom replied.
Brian got under the car with me. "Right there," I smiled.
"Hurry guys!" Tej replied. "Security system's locking us out."
"Faster guys," Dom grunted.
"You gotta hurry up," Tej replied.
"Army heading your way," Ramsey replied. "Get out of there right now."
"Get out guys!" Dom exclaimed. "Forget it!" Brian and I got out from under the car. "Tej, were taking the car." We got into the car. "Tear out the dash. Go through it."
"Alright," I sighed. I started trying to get the the chip. "Come on." We started getting shot at. "Good thing the thing's bulletproof." Dom kept driving around the room. "Okay."
"Dom, cars don't fly!" Brian stated. "Cars don't fly!" Dom pressed on the gas. "Holy shit!" Brian grabbed me and put me in his lap so I don't go flying out the window in case it did break. The back was hit with a missile. We made it into the second building. "Get the chip."
"On it," I replied.
"No brakes!" Dom exclaimed.
"What?" Brian asked.
"No brakes," Dom repeated.
"Shit!" Brian nodded. I broke the glass where the chip was. Dom sped up. "No, no, no! No!"
We landed in the third building. I managed to get the chip. "Got it!" I exclaimed as the doors broke off.
"Get out!" Dom exclaimed.
Brian grabbed me and we jumped out together, he broke my fall. The car fell out the building. "Dom," I sighed.
"Still miss the bullets, Brian?" Dom asked.
We went to Safar's garage. "Really?" Safar asked.
Mr. Nobody came in and everyone left but the crew. "May I?" Mr. Nobody asked. I gave him the drive. "All my men are standing by and are fully at your disposal."
"Ramsey," Dom handed her the drive. "Find me Shaw." Ramsey smiled and started looking. "There he is. A factory. At dawn, we go for them."
"Come here," Brian nodded. We went to the warehouse Mr. Nobody housed us. We changed. "Dom's going after him now. If you don't want me to go, just say so."
"Brian, go," I nodded. "Just promise me you'll come back."
"I promise," Brian smiled.
"Be careful," I sighed. Brian kissed me and left. I saw Emma sleeping on the couch. "Goodnight baby girl." I stayed up for a few hours. I heard the door close. I sat up and looked. "Brian?"
"Get up, we gotta go," Brian nodded. We packed up and headed on a plane back to LA. We met the team on the top of a parking garage. "This is where were going to fight."
"I'm all for winging it, but this is crazy, man," Rome nodded. "We got mercenaries with some real heat in us. I mean, I ain't scares or nothing, but...man, I don't even have a gun!"
"Gun?" Dom questioned. "We got a whole city."
"And we may have more than that," Tej added. "If they use God's Eye, it'll tap the cameras around town to find our location. Which means we could plant a virus."
"And then break in when they access it," Ramsey finished. "So you're talking about hacking my hacking device. It's brilliant."
"Only one problem," I sighed. "Signal strength. You can't start a hack until they're within a two-mile range."
"That's really close," Emma sighed.
"Close? These guys are military," Rome added. "We're already dead if they're within two miles of us." I looked at Rome. "I don't know about y'all, but I didn't really plan on dying today."
"Hey, we got a four year old to go home to," Brian replied. "Not to mention, my daughter is here with us."
"Only one way to stay alive," Emma nodded. "Play keep-away with Ramsey."
"What?" Ramsey asked.
"They can't hit us if we keep moving," Emma explained. "A moving target is harder to hit."
"And I'll take Shaw," Dom sighed.
"So, basically, we're just gearing up for a big game of hot potato?" Tej asked.
"Which car is the potato?" Ramsey asked.
"None," I replied as I looked at her. "You're the potato, Ramsey. You're the target."
