Barbie Doll

'Hey Maria, good presentation,' Barbie doll snickered when I left the French room.
'Um..thanks, Kendall,' I said dragging out my words so Barbie could know that I didn't even care.
I mean seriously who did she think she was? She stole everything good I ever had.
I thought she was my best friend. I used to spend all my time at her house when we were younger, we used to have sleepovers and we both applied for the same high school and when we got in we were both ecstatic. But everything changed after orientation day, we were split up and not in the same class anymore, she made new friends and I met Chloe. Those summer holidays, she didn't come over for Christmas or New Years, and when we returned to school and I ran up to give her a hug, she pushed me off, teased my outfit and walked off with several other girls. She never returned my calls until I finally gave up and immersed myself in extra-curricular activities with Chloe.

One fine day, a week before midterm, I met Teo, the coolest guy ever. He was smart, handsome and funny. He approached me and we started talking about studying for physics together. He was amazing, my first thought was that Chloe, Teo and I could be best friends, but that's when Kendall approached, whispered something in his ear, and his smiling face changed to a disgusted one before he hurriedly walked with her on his arm. She turned around and smirked at me revealing her annoying (but perfect) teeth. I severely disliked her, yet Chlo always told me to calm down because I wasn't the bad person in this situation and Kendall would get what she would deserve soon enough.
