CHASE

We rode up in the mountains, enjoying the green scenery. As we whizzed by, and got higher in elevation the temperature began to drop, and we pulled into this little dive bar-type place after about an hour of riding.

As I swung my leg over the bike and hopped off, I was jumping around a little bit.

"Ass a bit numb?" David teased.

"A little bit. You can always ride bitch, I don't mind." I winked back.

"Now, now. That wouldn't be any fun now would it?" He responded and got off the motorcycle.

"More like amusing if you ask me."

I took my helmet, bandana, glasses, and gloves off, setting them in the helmet, hanging it on the handle bar. David soon followed.

"Thirsty?" He asked, pulling my loose hair back into place.

"Little bit."

He lead the way to the front of the little dive, and opened the door for me. Inside was a busy environment. There was several different hunting trophies on the wooden walls such as bear, deer, and even a buffalo. There were also several different types of racks on mantles as well. Through the windows, I could see that the back patio had several barbeques and fire pits just waiting to be set ablaze.

David and I walked on over to the bar, and each ordered a Dr. Pepper. David payed for the drinks and we headed to the back to relax for a few minutes. We sat by one of the fire pits that were going, and smiled at an older couple that were dancing on a small dance floor a few feet away from us.

David gave me a wild look as he walked by me, and up to the couple. He lowered his head to whisper in their ears, and they looked my way.

What the hell is he up to?

The song had just ended when they finished talking, and the older man stepped to the side. The next track started up, and it was one of my favorites, Ten Times Crazier by Blake Shelton. David and the older woman started dancing, and the old man came my way, and offered his hand for a dance.

What the hell? I don't dance!

I smiled, and took his hand.

There we were, the four of us dancing, and having fun. I have never danced with a stranger, let alone an old stranger. Hell, I don't dance.

The song quickly came to an end, and David and the older man exchanged partners once again.

I looked up at him, and he lightly chuckled. The next track, I Don't Want This Night To End by Luke Bryan came on, and he bowed, offering his hand to me. I grabbed it, he pulled me close, and we danced to the song. While it wasn't the best slow dancing song, we made it work.

When the song had ended and we stepped from each other a few inches, a small group had formed, and they were just smiling at us.

We stepped down to the patio, and went back to our seats.

"So, you dance?" I smiled at him.

"And you don't." He laughed.

"Hey man! I can do some dancing, I am just not good at it."

"Okay, keep telling yourself that."

I grabbed his Dr. Pepper, and downed the rest, giving him a face.

"That's it!" He said, while getting up, grabbing me, and throwing me over his shoulder.

"Help! Fire! Fire!" I yelled in between laughs.
