An: Hey guys here is the new chapter.. I was so happy when Jadine became a couple :D Anyway before I start the story I want to let you guys know that I will be making a new Jadine fanfiction but I need a beta reader since I don't have any, I just publish what I write without even editing. 10 years, it has been 10 years since he left Philippines, 10 years since he left his friends, 10 years since he last saw Nadine.

Sure they'll send email to each other but it was different from talking to her personally. Somehow he can't open up that much using email. The distance was just too much. Time has passed and their friendship crumbled. After all what's the point of keeping something so broken.

James was waiting in front of the airport for his cousin. A lot of things are happening right now so his family decided that he should have a vacation here in the Philippines. Of course he would be happy since he will have the opportunity to see Nadine, but would she be happy to see him?

"James" His cousin called out to him. James looked up and saw his cousin running towards him. "Sorry I'm late. I forgot that I was supposed to pick you up." He apologized. James assured his cousin saying that it's okay then they both walked out of the airport towards his cousin's car.

"Do you still live at the same place?" James asked. His cousin shook his head. "Since grandma died a 3 years ago dad decided to move." His cousin replied. "Is your new place far?" he asked. "From the old place yeah. a 2-3 hours drive." James was silent. So he can't see Nadine because they aren't neighbors now. "Do you want to go there?" His cousin asked. James just nodded his head.

His cousin knows that he has a crush on Nadine. Everyone knows that they like, scratch that, Everyone knows that they LOVE each other everyone but those two. "I'll drive us to their but I'm not sure if Nadine would be there since she has work today." His cousin said. James looked at his cousin and asked, "How did you know?" "She told me." he just replied. A small part of him is jealous since He was supposed to know everything about Nadine. He was supposed to be the one to know all her secrets. Every time something happened to her, she was supposed to tell him first. But now, they barely know each other. But now, he barely knew her and she barely knew him.

When they arrived at Nadine's house James quickly went out of the car and knocked on her door. He kept knocking for a few minutes but their was no reply. She isn't home he thought. He quickly walked towards the park. His cousin caught up with him. He was supposed to ask where James is going but seeing the hurt in James face he said. "I'll be in the car if you need me." He quickly went inside the car and drove to the nearest store to buy some snacks. He knew that James wanted to be alone so he is going to give him some alone time.

When James arrived at the park he quickly went towards the tree, their tree. When he went to the tree he traced the J+N 4ever mark on the tree. He carved it a few years before he left as a sign of their friendship.

He took a final glance at the tree before leaving.

He saw his cousin in a store near the park they both went inside the car and drove off. While driving his cousin didn't notice a kid running on the street and before they knew it BAM they hit someone. James and his cousin went out of the car and saw Nadine lying on the street with blood flowing out of her body. His cousin quickly called an ambulance while James went near her and held her tightly.

Nadine opened her eyes and saw James holding her. Her hands touched his face. "It's really you," She weakly said, tears forming in her eyes. "After all this time I get to see you again, even if it's the last time. I'm happy that I get to see you again." "I'm sorry Nadine." James said. Nadine just smiled at him and said "I'm sorry for lying."

James looked at her confused. "I never really had a crush on Andre. It was always you.." "Why didn't you tell me?" James asked tears streaming down his face. She smiled,

"Because best friends...

And then she saw black.
